Emails from Ted

Hi, I thought you may all be interested in the emails we have recieved from Ted Doty. It is now also very clear as to why there is a lack of hostility on the NJ.Com board - It appears that Mr. Doty has been banned from that site. It is interesting to see that after he was banned that all the others postingpro CC application items also seemed to evaporate. These letters are a window into the mind of Mr. Doty. You can judge for yourself.

Do you think that Mr. Doty is aware of the fact that Rockaway Twp only has a set amount of gallons to use for sewers?  Do you think he understands that those of us on the Northern side of town would be thrilled to have public utilities? Do you think he understands that if a large project like the one proposed for 140 Green Pond Rd moves into town we will give up  tens of thousands of sewage gallons to them? Do you think he has any idea that septic systems are designed to hold solid waste and filter water back into the land?

He fails to explain how it is good for the enviornment to build an underground parking garage in the middle of 2 c-1 water ways on land that perks at 10-20 feet.   I am sure he will fire off yet another email to explain his views on this matter.

Good night.

Ted and Sewers

Hey gadfly,

Sewers would be WELCOME by most of us who live in the northern section of town.  A new neighbor moved in a year or two ago and planned on building an inground pool...A few months later there was lots of digging going on in their backyard - we all thought it was the new pool...Nope - just a failed septic system being replaced - at the cost of an inground pool...Yeah - we "northerners" love not being able to flush toilets during power outages and living in fear of a having shit backing up into our homes (something many of our neighbors have already dealt with) if we have too many people over for a party...

RE: Emails from Ted

Ireland and CC has more rights pertaining to our sewerage allocation volume than us citizens of RT do for a very simple set of reasons:

1. He owns a minority based business

2. He is a church

3. Federal Law supports reverse discrimination

4. Federal Law supports Church rights over local Zoning laws

You see, the law says in essence that we must pay so that they get to play.  Get used to your septics at the Northern end of Green Pond Road above Meriden cause that situation is not going to change.  We have a lot of crap producers moving into town down off of Meriden that will need to have a conduit to get it out of town and this will require all the sewarage capacity that our town can muster.

It appears Mr. Doty is an angry unstable individual whose opinions have long been ignored in Rockaway Township.  The decision of both boards to ban him speaks volumes.  Mr. Doty is at best an itch which if scratched only itches more and at worst a very ill man in need of major help.  Unfortunately, I think it is the later.

lol even nj.com has had enough of his shenanigans!

Unfortunately though the censorship continues.

This morning I asked on nj.com if there was anyone out there besides Ted who supported the church project, or was it just him in his many personalities all this time...

it was promptly deleted (I had included the word "banned" so maybe that triggered the automatic deletion).

I've rephrased the question so it wouldn't offend anyone:

2876. Christ Church Supporters
by mrsstark38, 9/2/04 12:42 ET

I'll rephrase this so it's not deemed inappropriate.

Are there other Rockaway Township residents besides Mr. Doty who actively support this project?

It seems very quiet in this forum now that he's no longer with us.

As predicted we have not recieve one email from Mr. Doty - we have recieved several.  They make as little sense as the originals.  As Mr. Doty has been banned from this site I will not continue to post his responces, as it has been detirmined that he adds nothing of value to the discussion.

If Mr. Doty thinks he has some points that endorse his thoughts that the plans submitted by the applicant are good for the environment he may make those points in the proper forum.  He has not at this point given one reason how this plan will be good for the environment.

Have a great weekend everyone!
