Did you know cell towers pose a major threat to natural habitats?Did you know a lot of groups oppose them?Just thought I would let you know this because you are supposed to be pretending to be environmentalists.
Many cell towers today have little impact on the land, they take less thank 250 feet of land to build on. Many cell towers are on top of buildings.
Do you think this type of "development" is the same as the CC situation?
OVER develpoment is the last thing we need. Small projects that will improve the quality of life and safety - well thats is a horse of a different color all together.
need to keep up on these things if you are pretending to be an envronmentalist.Cell towers cause mortality to bird habitats. Please do some research.Remember, you are trying to look like you're an environmentalist.I can understand why you want it though and I wish you luck with your phone service.
It was just revealed today that a new religion that worships cell phone towers has filed an application to the Rockaway Township planning board to build a monument to their deity in the northern section of town. The head of this new religious, Reverand Fred Bloated claimed that on a typical Tuesday afternoon, which is their day of worship, upwards of 5000 people will be climbing the tower and making cell phone calls simultaneously. The reverend plans on having his parishioners come in multiple shifts so as not to create a traffic nuisance and not to pull down the tower.
One of the congregants, a local resident who gave his name as Mussels Cahones stated that on a good day, the radiation leakage from the tower - caused by the climbing of congregants, will irradiate and kill trees within a 3000 yard radius. He said that this would clear the way for 3-6 township fields that our local youth residents need. Mr. Cahones also claimed that he would NOT be employed by the cell phone tower industry in the near future and that while a member, he does not actually pay for his membership.
Mayor Sceusi was unavailable for comment because he was in the northern section of town and had no cell phone reception when called.
