"Did you know the church has no problem getting people in and out between the services? In Rockaway they will just have people direct traffic a couple hours on sundays.
If a company moved there we would not get this help and there would be 1000 cars every weekday during rush hour."

HELLLLLLOOOOOOO....why don't some people get that cc is a 24/7 operation...school (during the week), meetings, mentoring sessions and other "out-reach programs" at night...all week...then the circus that will happen on sundays - as THOUSANDS of people flood streets that can't handle that sort of traffic...never mind whatever "events" that will be held in the banquet hall...
this is not a one day a week issue...
and i just love the statement about just having someone direct traffic for a couple hours...gee...and just who will have to pay for that??? US...the taxpayers of RT...the people that have nothing to gain by them coming here...the people that are not going to be able to make it to the diner for breakfast or to their own churches for services (at least not without leaving an hour earlier to avoid the mobs of people)...no - of course not cc...why should they (or ireland) feel any responsibility towards the town the they want to flood with traffic...take tax dollars from...and hurt the environment in????!!!!
ps...montclair becomes a nightmare with the traffic...the public lots run out of room...and the people that live in the apartments or their guests can NEVER find a place to park...they end up parking their cars blocks away...(i know...i lived their)...
ireland should purchase the building that's been empty for years next door to the church in montclair (it's across the street from the south park restaurant on park)...then he'd be creating room that he needs for his church and staying in this community that loves him so much (wink)...and staying near all his current congregants...instead of leaving them for greener pastures...oh...and it won't cost his corporation (or congregants) as much money - then maybe he could add another out reach program to his itinerary...
That monster on the board just wants to get people upset and fight with him. Common sense tells you that there's more to this church than 2 services a Sunday. All the money being spent is one clue.
I would like to know, why do we have to provide cops to direct traffic out of there? Isn't it up to them? And if we refuse, they'll be stuck inside their church most of the day. Aw shucks, then we won't be able to use the fields, the fitness center, and all the other programs that they plan that are not going to bring more traffic onto GPR.
You guys are absolutely correct. There will be far more concentrated traffic on a constant basis then was ever felt when Agilent was there. You only have to browse their church calendar to see how active they are. Constant concerts, seminars, bible study sessions, counseling sessions. They recently advertised a world-wide seminar of some kind where they were flying in people from all over to hear guest speakers. They were making hotel reservations and all. This is a massive, 24 x 7 major business corporation that takes and takes from the community and the tax base and gives nothing in return. (Oh excuse me, you can use their ball fields, maybe, if they arent using them, sometimes).
And what are we to glean from this cryptic post? Just what are you implying that is false? YooHOO Not True, Please be kind enough to be a bit more explicit in your statements, trust me it will not be deleted.

i'm sorry...did someone mention todd in this thread??? it would be wise if you thought before you spoke...and made sure your statements hold SOME relevance...or people might begin to think you don't have a mind...
as for why we would have to pay for the traffic direction of cc...they are RT's cops...hence...our tax dollars pay for their presence...including the OT that will most likely be required to direct traffic for this 24/7 corporation...
These posts have been on the Dover message board - I saw them a few minutes ago - they have been up for hours. This language goes undeleted yet a posting containing the word "idiot" was deleted this morning on NJ.com?
Difference between Dover and RT boards? No TD to censor at whim!
AND I actually attempted to use the word "****" at one point in the past, and got a message that said "Your post includes inappropriate language..."
Here's more from Dover (of course this board will automatically add the asterisks, but the text appears in its full glory at nj.com):
Murray has been a cop for over 20 years and still doesn’t know the rules. It's not the good old days anymore, you just can't go slapping hand cuffs on people because they **** you off. ...STUPID A-HOLE

Wow - that post at nj.com is DAYS old. I can't believe they've left it up for so long. I also didn't realize that this board was so sensitive that you couldn't say piss. Isn't that a bit sensitive? Any way to tone down the naughty word checker here???

At the risk of being redundant, Christ Church and Ireland are getting all the Objectivity that money can buy. If we want more objectivity ourselves (read - gain control of the media), we need to buy off the news agencies ourselves with a PR outfit as our middle man. Using a PR firm is how one keeps their own personal "hands clean." You give them a bunch of money and tell them that you do not want to know what they do to become effective, but you tell them to "be effective." Until we decide to follow suit, we should just shut up about the bias. Ireland bought it and he is getting his moneys worth. (Interesting way for a man of the cloth to behave, but this should be very revealing to all who have come to know and love this man!) Money makes the world go 'round folks. And make no mistake about it, this is all about money, and lots of it.
