For the past 3 years the Christ Church proposed project has taken a great deal of attention here in Rockaway Twp and at the State level at the DEP. Yesterday we learned that yet again the applicant had not provided all the information the DEP needs to complete its work. This is much like the meetings of the planning board that have gone on for so long. Each time that the applicant is unwilling or unable to answer questions in an honest and timely manner it takes up more time for everyone and wastes thousands of dollars. The money belongs to the members of the church, the tax payers of Rockaway Twp and the tax payers of the State of NJ. I guess you could also count in federal dollars with the legal action filed against the town for "stalling".

What is the response from the applicant and their supporters to this latest news that their plans are still deficient? Personal attacks against any and everyone. These good 'Christian' people who defend Christ Church in a building application issue daily personal attacks against anyone they can in hopes to make there own point of view heard.

I can not help but wonder if they (the 2-3 people responsible for the slew of attacks against anyone in disagreement with them) teach their children these lessons. If you do not like someone’s opinion then make fun of them and harass them in hopes they will start to believe your point of view. If that does not work send them threatening emails. Whatever you do DO NOT get up in a public meeting and state you opinion rationally and except the fact that others may not see your point of view and you must accept it. Let us not forget the most important lesson that they are teaching their children if a group of people disagree with you then simply pick one of them and state over and over again that that one person is responsible for your failed attempts to convince the rest of the world that you are correct.

For those who have read my postings in the past and are wondering if there is something has happened to cause this post, yes it has. I have been shocked over the past few weeks at the level some have sunk to in their efforts to further their personal agendas. I find their behavior harassing, stalker like and obsessed. All of this happened while I was not even here in town I have been out of town spending most of my time in ICU with a family member.

I oppose the Christ Church building project for reasons stated often on this board and in other places. I still believe this plan is wrong for this location and it appears that many thousands of others agree by virtue of the thousands of signatures on petitions, letters and attendance to meetings. These facts have frightened someone. I believe that I know who these people are, but I will not lower myself to the behavior of these sad morally bankrupt people and spell out for the world to read my personal opinions of them. Their parents, spouses and children must be so proud of them for their efforts to make themselves feel more important.
