Hooray! New Tax Bill Arrived

When will it end. I doubt that idiot in Trenton will be able to do anything about property taxes.

Here are the numbers (rounded):

District Schools +4.5%
Regional Schools +6.5%
County Tax +12.5%
County Open Space +12.5%
Township Tax +6.5%
Municipal Open Space +10%

CC, now do you see our concern over losing the ratable from 140 GPR. We get hit in the wallet every year to pay our unfair-share. You want to bring in your mega-operation, take from the taxpayers, strain township resources, and contribute nothing in return.

My taxes doubled in the last 10 years, wish the rest of the economy could keep up with that.

You have lots of company Mr. Bill. I have been in this house about 22 yrs. When I bought it the taxes were $800, then they re-evaluated shortly thereafter and it has been going up ever since. We are now at $7K and still with wells and septic, no sidewalks, etc. And they wonder why NJ is losing people left and right.

Don't feel bad Chuck, those of us in the Meridan-Old Beach Glen area are getting hit the hardest. (Average 14K to 23K for homes in the 2 to 20 year old developments) It sucks to write that check every quarter. When our kids are off to college, we are outa here.

About 15 K per year here. Would get out, but was not successful. Donations accepted!

Maybe cc will take pity on us and will consider taking up a special collection for us poor souls who live here in RT under its confiscatory level of property taxation.

Church members - - - keep in mind that your donations may get you into heaven more quickly. Also, if in doubt deciding on how much to give, "the bigger amount is the better amount".
