I LOVE Richard Merkt's comment (and I didn't even vote for him!) below about Snowflack's blog about illegal aliens committing crime - What is also funny is reading some blog postings. I loved the one from the person who pointed out that illegal aliens have been arrested for two recent Morristown crimes, including the sadistic killing of an 8-year-0ld boy. True. Then again, someone should clue this individual in on the fact that American citizens commit crimes, too.
Perhaps some of the problem has to do with the prevailing tenets of modern journalism, which tend to scorn objectivity in reporting, in favor of journalistic "advocacy." I, for one, prefer the former standard, in which the media presented facts and let its readers draw their own conclusions.
Present the facts from BOTH SIDES Fred - that's ALL we're asking for.

At least it shows that Fred watches both this forum and the nj.com Rockaway forums. Now he cannot say he does not know what is being said on both of them. As for the comment. I do hope that Fred takes some of those in stride, after all, he is a member of the editorial staff at a major area newspaper. One that hopfeully can still stay objective on the subject at hand., for as a journalist, if he is not neutral, then his objectivity is not clear and his writing could suffer.
