I took a look at the plans for the proposed Adult housing community behind AG Edwards.
There is good news and bad news:

Good News:
The land is not in the core of the Highlands
The land has already recieved an approval for a strip mall but Sr. Housing is a better taxable and they do not have kids in school.
The land is basicly cleared at this point and there is little underground that needs to be done.


Bad News:
They are planning on having personal elevators in each unit. This is a stupid idea that creates endless logistical problems for the volunteer first aiders as they are PERSONAL elevators and do not appear to have room for a stretcher.

From the environmental side the plan looks pretty good as it is located at the base of GPR where there is already many houses (Sanders Rd) it does seem to be consistant with the Master Plan of the Township.

As the project moves forward we will keep an eye out to ensure it is consistant with the Master Plan and protects the environment.
