Russ is hysterical on nj.com--he's so upset about getting kicked off our property when he came to have a private discussion with my son while no adults were present.
On nj.com he keeps bringing up Scott and "DYFUS"--a few years back there was a discussion on the denville board about how the schools and DYFS are out of control and that kids can't be disciplined anymore or they'll call the authorities.
I chimed in about an experience we had a year prior where my 11-year old son complained at school that he had to write a composition for punishment. The school called DYFS and they came and interviewed us.
Turns out, the composition was punishment for him and his friend breaking into a neighbor's shed and stealing camping gas and playing with matches in the woods. Thank God the neighbor caught them and took the gas back...but as you can imagine we were upset with what might have happened, so we had him write an essay about what the implications might have been.
Needless to say, DYFS thanked us for our time and sent a letter acknowledging that no abuse took place.
And now according to nj.com, Russ and "DYFUS" are trying to help Scott with his anger problem.
The only anger problem Scott's got is when a pseudo-preacher comes to our house while we are at work to have a private talk with our 12-year-old boy, to convince him to befriend his obnoxious kid. I have an anger problem with that too!
You just have not yet realized the the road to redemption for your sons playing with matches is through the almighty "CHRIST CHURCH". If you and your family do not seek and achieve forgiveness from "HIS HOLINESS, THE GREAT AND ONE AND ONLY DAVID IRELAND" you and the rest of the citizens of Rockaway Township are all going to Hell.
Well...since I'm still banned from nj.com I'll answer you here, Russ:
My kid may have done a stupid thing and shown bad judgment by playing with matches, but at least he shows the good judgment not to play with your kid.
He also shows the good judgment not to play with you. What normal adult pulls a kid out of his house with no adult home to have a private conversation?!? And you have the balls to call my husband "Short Eyes"...
Oh well, I guess it's the same set of cohones that put you in a position to determine that Rockaway Township needs a moral compass.
