Anyone wish to comment on last nites meeting? I hear the next meeting is now put off until September? Any word yet from those hacks in Trenton called the DEP? Has anyone gotten any feeling for which way the PB is leaning so far?
It would be totally self destructive behaviour if they leaned but one way. However, Dimin will probably make the call for them telling them how to vote on this. Only Sceusi is in a position to argue the point intelligently with Dimin.
The PB will vote based on what will hold up in court and nothing else. Obviously 99% percent of the residents in town, including the PB members see CC as a major liability for RT. This is too big of an issue for Sceusi to allow Dimins to call all the shots. Marci Hamilton and potentially others have been retained to consult on the issue. Don't be concerned with Dimins or Dicker's cavalier attitudes. If there is a legal way to block it, it will happen.
It would be a real blow to the moral of RT residents if this mega-complex is approved without testing the legal system in court.
