Wanted:Investigative Reporter

There has been a lot of speculation about various aspects of the Mega-deal between Christ Church and Agilent. We all know they are "sharing" the same PR firm for one. Here are a couple of interesting tidbits of information that some industrious investigative reporter needs to research and confirm.

Supposedly the "actual" deal for the Agilent property is for $23M. CC will pay $14M in cash and then give Agilent a $9M Letter of Donation so Agilent can write off a charity donation of $9M. Isnt that special?

Secondly, CC has been paying Agilent every month to keep the deal alive and keep the terms of the contract "confidential". It isnt known if they are totally reimbursing Agilent for the amount of the taxes or just a stipend to keep their mouths shut.

This is the caliber of people we are dealing with.

I must stress that all this is rumor and couldnt be confirmed by my source due to the confidentiality of the Agilent/CC contract, but maybe someone can dig up something that can be proven. My source is and will remain confidential for obvious reasons.

Any good reporters out there?

There's alot that needs to be investigated in this whole matter. Firstly, why RT for this church? A basically all white community with very few "born agains" where any negative voices against the church are considered racist or anti religion. Good strategy on someone's part.

Also, why the deletions on the NJ.Con board? If you look at the Denville board, there's some really insulting posts there but they don't get deleted.

Why such concern as to what is being written on our own board that it makes the front page of the paper?

There's strong forces against RT. WHY?

I wonder if channel 7, "The Investigators" would be interested? But then again you're dealing with race and religion. Can't touch that! And those running this game know it.

P.S.

They even have our elected officials scared.

And to think a few days ago I wondered why Agilent didn't opt out of the contract and entertain other offers. Money, more money, and a whole lot of money.

We should forward this thread to the Ledger and the Record and see if they take it on.

ps - since Agilent is a multi-billion dollar company, I doubt that the company could care less what happens to that property.  However, you will much more likely find that someone inside the company in power is either really ticked off at our town and getting even with it or someone is personally benefiting from a nice "finders fee" if this deal goes through (which is illegal, btw).

Now I am not saying that  EVERYONE should call or write and ask them. Because I am sure Agilent is to busy to bother. But PR is PR and People spend Billions to kill a tiny mosquito.

Does anyone know who the commercial real estae broker is who put the deal together? I am sure they have a lot to gain in this tranaction. Especially since commercial real estate supply excceds demand these days.

Speaking of reporters, Did anyone notice how interested the Citizen reporter was in what the residents of Rockaway Twp thought and said at the meeting Monday night?

Remember she has been very clear that she need not be impartial and that she is a "Christian Reporter".  I still can not believe she said that, but she did.

Have a nice night!

Is the Citizen a Christian Newspaper?  It is a rhetorical question so there is no need to answer.

I am not sure who the real estate broker is, but it is rumored to be Weichert.
