Has anyone ever considered that people do not react irrationally in general? Ted is a well educated man. He is not irrational. Ted has a motive for his behaviour here.
Consider this: Ted used to work for HP / Agilent. Interestingly, he has not mentioned that heretofore and avoided that in discussions in todays DR article. Do you not find that interesting?
A question: Does HP / Agilent have any interest in this deal? Do they want it to go through?
There seems to be paid forces working against this town from two fronts. One is Christ Church and its organizational PR firm. The other seems to be Hewlett Packard/Agilent. Unfortunately, it looks like Rockaway Township is at quite the loss since it does not have any such organizational setup working in its behalf - - - ie. - - - no PR firm doing its bidding behind the scenes. Oh well. It is important to realize what is going on here anyway.
If nothing else today's editorial in the Daily Record gave Ted a very appropriate new name. May he forever be known as "Gadfly" but let us realize what he and never be sucked in again. Bug spray for all!
I find these companys abhorrent, I cringe at the thought of this information being available to any one with 30 bucks and a computer. But if you suspect a agent provacateur, most likely they are paid by check. http://www.spysecrets.net/index.php?p=home This is much more terrifying then any monster, real or imagined.
RTSR, Some of our younger readers may not be familiar with the term gadfly, for instance my 21 year old daughter thought it was a pleasant term for the "nice lady down the street" so in the spirit of education........
1. insects fly that bites livestock: a fly that irritates livestock by biting them and sucking their blood. Horseflies are a type of gadfly. Family Tabanidae.
2. somebody annoying: somebody who persistently irritates or torments another person ( dated )

I am very upset with the DR's editorial about Ted. Why does both the DR and NJ.con ignore anything anyone else says except for those who oppose CC? The disgusting things Ted said on this board-lying lisa, her and the mayor, etc are totally ignored but the press picks up what one person said that others where thinking cause Ted draws out this reaction in people.
His slanderous statements throughout this board are just as bad as what Scott said, but the difference is Ted is handicapped. So?? Handicapped people can be evil. Such as Ted. Did the DR ever wonder what drove Scott to say such a thing? Maybe if they were professional newsreporters they would have seen the hateful things Ted inflicted on this board.
I have refrained from arguing with Ted because that is exactly what he wanted, though at times it was hard to keep my mouth shut. He's been silent for a while, but he'll be back and EVERYONE IGNORE HIM! Don't give him the satisfaction that he's receiving today from the Daily Record. If he has no one to fight with, maybe he'll crawl back into the hole he climbed out of and he won't be of any use to CC or HP.
Today's editorial criticized Scott for "attacking" Doty's "disease".
The one thing they brought up was the issue that Rob Jennings had misunderstood--
Scott never told him to "die a slow death from your multiple sclerosis"--so I'm comfortable with the whole issue; the editorial focused on that one aspect. He never said he wanted Doty's MS to kill him (in fact, to the best of my knowledge, MS isn't a fatal affliction).
He made a simple insult, the same insult that any of us might make to someone like Doty without a second thought--and without, of course, really being sincere in the wish.
If you tell someone, "Eat sh-t and die" do you really mean that literally?
Scott's words were harsh, but I continue to insist he was driven to it, as were many of us--but I guess Scott's transgression is he became so engrossed in the heated debate that he lashed out at Ted the way he would at any other instigator.
This one's in a wheelchair, though, and took full advantage to sensationalize what should have been a passing exchange of insults.
