Here's why Lisa Salberg failed in her attempt to derail the Christ Church application:
She repeatedly used lies and deception to build support for the now-defunct VORT
She misled herself and others to believe she was a savior for the community
She constantly stuck her foot way deep in her mouth
Her oversized ego got the best of her
Much to the chagrin of her masters (Sceusi, Rogers, etc.), she had the uncanny ability to singlehandly turned VORT into a disasterous liability
She was an amateur trying to do a professional's job
She was a bully who liked to pick fights
Most of the people in town were repelled by her obnoxious behavior
She failed to denounce the malicious rantings of Craig Maier
Thankfully, she has resigned her position with VORT (There haven't been any denials so we can safely assume it's the truth) and has crawled back under that slimy rock where she can no longer do further harm to this community.
Sorry I could only think of nine reasons...one more and it would have been on Letterman.
I think it is time for the men in white coats to pull up to Ted's house. He is in need of major professional help.
Why he is so obsessed with Lisa and VORT is beyond comprehension. Could it be his latest attempt to rally the residents behind his cause failed while Lisa has been successful in making the town aware of CC. His glee at receiving a couple of phone calls seems short lived.
Lisa and VORT are very much still in the picture and it appears by todays word on the Highlands bill CC coming to Rockaway is highly unlikely.
You would expect a man who ran for mayor to be better in control of his emotions and rhetoric. He is an embarrasment to his family, himself and the town.
