I believe one person was banned and even if he/she wasn't, its not truly free speech ...for everyone that is.

I realize you're the only person who's had their identity revealed on this messageboard ... and that's unfortunate in and of itself (imo) ... I think each and every identity should be revealed as a result of the one-time it was done (in similar fashion as to how your identify was revealed)  ... It would be interesting to see how many nicknames actually link up to one ISP (or not) ... I think it might cut down a LOT on the never-ending bashing that goes on here, too... Although it's probably easy to work around by posting from different locations.

Are you saying this because OF that one time when your identity was revealed ??  I can't recall having seen anything that's not been allowed to be discussed here.  So far as I can tell, anything's allowed to be discussed ... it's how that's REPLIED to that's the problem here, in my view (experience speaking).

Hence my return to the concept of forum rules/guidelines with regards to manners and netiquette.  Would requesting civility and netiquette (via rules and guidelines) impact on the no-holds-barred bashing (aka free speech) that currently runs rampant here??

BOLL****E!!!  Ted was never revealled! Anyone who knows anything about Internet Message Boards knows that all an Admin can gather is the IP address and the ISP the user is on. Beyond that (names, etc) must be obtained thru court order.

Here's why Lisa Salberg failed in her attempt to derail the Christ Church application:
