Now What?

Now that (thanks to me) the BOE has voted against a new school at the Agilent site, I find myself at a loss for my next cause.

Any Ideas.

The only conditions are:

1. I must be in the limelight

2. The cause must go against the moral majority

The " cause" was and still is that we don't need to construct a school.

In 1994 a Facilities Committee place school capacity at 2983.  Since that time 19 clssrooms were added and at 20 students per class that will house 380 students:  giving us a total capacity of 3363 (2983+380).

The crurrent five year projection is 3337.  With a capacity of 3363 and a questionabl projection of 3337, Why do we need a new school?

now for the snappy comeback...

It's not just one persons decision, it's the entire town.

Even if you accept the current 5 year projection of 3337 students we still don't need an entire new school.

With the 19 new classrooms which can house 380 students plus the 1994 Facilities Committee calculated capacity of 2983, we can now hold 3363.  Admittedly it would be tight and an addition to DBO might be in order.

Everyone seems to be forgetting Irelands Flocks children!  He is building a huge school with 77 classrooms for K through 5 (he says it is for 500, but we know better!).  He has already stated publically and under oath that he expects that the local community will be providing the public education system for his schools graduates.

What do you think about those numbers?  Anyone factored that into their calculations?

Hey blowhard,

We're responsible for any child that lives in town and enters the public education system.  According to the demographer his projections would take such growth into account.

The 5 year projection indicates that we'll have 3337 students.  Capacity is 3363 without a new school or addition

Minimum, monster!  He is building 77 classrooms.  500 yields less than 7 students per classroom.

Hey blowhard,

I asked the question last night (and btw I didn't see YOU there).  I wondered if the demographer's analysis included what might be considered unusual growth.  His response was in a growing town (which we have recently been) such growth is included.

Do you really have an engineering degree?  I would have thought you understood the basic concept of linear regression analysis.

True Mr. Craig, Ever since the night CM and I had to flee from the redneck villagers my reliable finger math and trusty karnack crystal ball have been just a little fuzzy.

Hey c-ock sucker,

Please explain to us Linear Regression Analysis.  I have really and honest to goodness never even heard of it.  I went to a real crappy Engineering School.  So, please give me the equation and explain it so that I can understand it, OK?  Thanks, we all appreciate the lesson.

Now for the point.  Did anyone look at "Explosive Growth??"

Does that verbiage not more accurately describe the situation that we are faced with, a$$hole.

Now, go take your Normalized Least Mean Squared analysis and shove it where the sun don't shine, and do it now.

And do it sideways!

Hey blowhard,

You've inappropriately used linear regression in your attempt to create hysteria with the "explosive growth theory".

Wow! when you can't respond you really get foul mouthed...and I thought you were a religious guy.

I am still waiting for you to explain the equation.  Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Or was that just a really neat mathematical word that you would throw out there to make you sound intelligent.

Show me the equations, A$$hole.  We ALL want to see them c ock-su cker.

Easy fellers . I think the monster can help out here. Its one of those Quasi legit statiscal buzzwords, that just bolster the phrase garbage in garbage out.

if you analyze paired data by first finding means, variances, standard deviations, and covariance. Then to use these statistical measures to find the best fitting line for the set of data and the correlation coefficient of the two variables, you get, alot of Booshirt.

Hey blowhard,

Nice try.  This is about the schools.  You can't sell any of your ideas so you attempt to make people afraid.

Fact is that we currently have the school capacity to house the five year projection.  At most we'll require an addition

Nobody's buying your biggoted fear tactics.  In fact talk to a few neighbors, you're the reason people now distance themslves from voRT and don't attend PB meetings...Congrats blowhard

I am thrilled that I have so much power.  Thanks for pointing that out.  I feel so much better now.  Great for my ego.  Kewl!!!

Monster at least understands the mathematical concepts of statistics, but I am still waiting for your equation.

Duh Ted says.  I don't know it and I don't understand it.  That is why we do not see it here.

Ted is the Blowhard, as you all can see.

Lotsa hot air, that is all you are.  Go put your bib back on.  You are drewling all over your keyboard.  It is going to short out and hurt Monster with the jolt.
