False
I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid level governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!
i.e. Lower taxes - True.
I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way, damn it!
Is there any reason to swear about this?
I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.
Absolutely. Lock & load!
I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.
Nothing wrong with this.
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, try to do it in English.
Si!
I think fireworks should be legal on the 4th of July.
If he wants to blow his hand off, let him!

So true.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.
Even at 140 Green Pond Rd.?

Not bad folks, better than Alec "Bullswhip" Baldwin, for sure.

Can't disagree here.
think global warming is a big lie. Where are all those experts now, when I'm freezing my ass off during these long winters and paying, paying, paying?
No proof of global warming exists.
I've never owned a slave, or was a slave, I didn't wander forty years In the desert after getting chased out of Egypt. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut-the-Hell-up already.
No reparations.

Amen!
I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you're running from them.
There'd be less runnning that way.
I also think they have the right to pull your ass over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.
Keep yourself legal and be sincerely polite, you'll usually get a warning.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
I second that.
I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me crap or trying to guilt me into making "donations" to their cause. These people should be targets.
This is a bit over the top.
I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.
Exactly. Two parents: One male, one female. And he's right, Hillary Clinton is an idiot.
And what the hell is going on with gas prices... again?
What can be done? Shop for the best price. Don't settle for what's most convenient. Drive less. Lower the demand and prices can fall.

I DO AGREE WITH WHAT IS IN THE POST...
i could go on and on to show the truth in these statements...but i'm sure it would be to no avail...
Not sure if it's my computer that's being troublesome today, but I'm not able to see the photos you placed in your message.. do you have a link where they could be found elsewhere on the internet? Thanks!

www.snopes.com is one of my favorite reference web sites. It's come in handy a number of times with spammy emails. Thanks!
If you do not agree with Master Carlin obvious intellect you one of the following:
A snivelling pansy Liberal do gooder that preaches utopian drivel, but doesn't give a damn to the followthru, outcome or reprecussions.
A minority Liberal who somehow thinks this world owes you a thing. Unlike the minorities that preceeded you to this country who worked like dogs, got smacked by their parents if they didn't speak English, And that vowed to work hard enough to make a better world for their children.
A spoiled, fat Liberal puke son or daughter of those immigrants that struggled to make this world better.
A head in the sand, Politically Correct, delusional, Liberal puke that actually believes the world should be like an episode of of "Friends".
A do-gooder Liberal puke that has never personally experienced, poverty, violence, struggle, or adversity.

...answer some of the statements...if you think they are so crazy...
Thanks for the stats - very interesting ... We also receive The Economist weekly - it's a great magazine (as is their website). Interestingly it's also a study resource for the AP History class at Morris Knolls.
While on the IQ subject, here are a couple of interesting websites you also might find interesting to read:
And you can find the above material in this past week's Economist (the E-Commerce cover). (I am 95% sure on that - if not then the week prior).
I agree regarding the magazine, it is an excellent resource for learning more about the development of free-markets and differing economic theories playing out around the globe, along with political and humanitarian news.

Maria,
I think you and I agree on much more than we disagree on. For I also agree with most of the post.
So "Info" is trying to point out that those with low IQ's voted for Bush, whose political perspective fits with the post much more than Gores would, so he concludes that only "idiots" would agree with the points in the post.
There are MANY problems with this logic. First, the IQ numbers stated are the averages for the entire states, not the averages for the voters in those states (which is a small percentage of the total population). Is it possible that the "smarter" people in the "dumber" states were the ones to cast their votes for Bush? And that the "dumber" voters in the "smarter" states were the ones who cast their votes for Gore? Entirely. And until a study is done that polls VOTERS IQ's, NOTHING can be concluded from the IQ numbers published. There is no correlation what so ever.
And another thing on the IQ number. It is a SUBJECTIVE method of determining intelligence. It may be somewhat sufficient in measuring KNOWLEDGE but is not likely to be good at determining WISDOM. These are two VERY different attributes. As an example, may I remind you that Craig Maier has a VERY high IQ (a verified Genius as I recall). So let's keep things in perspective.
(( And another thing on the IQ number. It is a SUBJECTIVE method of determining intelligence. ))
Absolutely true ... as is statistical analysis for everything (not just determining intelligence .... Numbers can be made to say whatever the analyst wants them to say.
(( It may be somewhat sufficient in measuring KNOWLEDGE but is not likely to be good at determining WISDOM. These are two VERY different attributes. ))
To my knowledge, wisdom, or lack thereof, is not statistically verifiable.... neither is common sense or lack thereof, etc.
(( As an example, may I remind you that Craig Maier has a VERY high IQ (a verified Genius as I recall). So let's keep things in perspective ))
Hahahaha..... perfect illustration of my point above.
Sorry to disapoint you, but it is only 142 from a test taken about 2 months ago. (It was a bit higher 20 years ago, but remember that it is a Quotient - - - reasoning ability divided by age {actually the formulae for its calculation is not linear and more complex than that, but I won't get into it - - - not really that important}. So, I have a real good excuse for total lack of Wisdom, which I am sure that you have, by definition, have a complete abundance of.

(( i went to SHU on a full scholarship )) Congrats, of course ... am curious -- what/where is "SHU" ?? I don't recognize the acronym, sorry... curious again - what did you study ?? Thanks, -B."
i was asking INFO...
SHU = Seton Hall University...
I have an English Lit degree (focus on Victorian Lit) - however, I my career path is Marketing...

Ooh I'm in the midst of such intellectuals. What Carlin is saying is: Your IQ and sheepskin on the wall doesn't hold a candle to common sense, which is what he talks about. Especially in his aformentioned rant.
Read it without your lib hackles up...you may find yourself saying..."Hey, that makes sense".
I think that every group of people at one time or another should be represented at the highest level of government. Even groups such as really stupid substance abusing frat boys with attention deficit disorder that were born with the proverbial silver spoon in thier nose......errr...mouth. And I think that George W. is serving very well in that capacity.

Yeah, we would be in GREAT shape if Gore had been elected!
Can you say "perpetual terror attacks"?
I'll take 4 more years of low taxes & terrorists on the run, thank you.
George W. is creating more terrorists than he is eliminating with his foolish entry into Iraq, without a plan, and without our allies, and without an exit plan. Afghanastan was completly justified, Iraq is not. Iraq was not a direct threat to the USA, and the terrorist's who were involved in 9/11 were not from there. It's easy for chickenhawks to support this misguided and poorly planned war, that will probably create far more problems than it will solve. The currency that George W. Bush is using to pay for his braindead plans is the blood of our servicemen and women. I have a son-in-law that is stationed in Baghdad, and I can tell you that much of the military there feels the same way. It's one thing to risk your life for your country, it's quite another matter to risk your life for a braindead president's idealology. The lower taxes provided by this president are a sham.We have gone from the biggest surplus in history to the biggest deficeit in history under George's watch. We will have to pay that bill, and it will hurt 100 times more than the tax cut helped. I can understand people faithful to a political party supporting the party, and that party's candidate, but for those that suggest that Bush is an intelligent capabale man , I dismiss them and that view out of hand.
Hey - it's George here. I'm not sure why anyone wants to quote me. After all, I am the creator of the 7 deadly words skit - you know - those words you can't say on TV or Radio - upheld by the Supreme Court (No - Marci Hamilton was not involved) as being banned. My moral values suck. I make jokes about bodily functions. And you internet geniouses think I wrote that crap on the top of this thread? No way - they're not even funny. Hey - if you want to know my thoughts on religion - you can find this one during the intro to my webpage (along with a few of those 'famous' 7 words (parentali guidance suggested - thanks Supreme Court, for making me state that) - just don't skip the intro if you want to read my TRUE thoughts on the world):
RELIGION: If this offends you, welcome to the world of sane and realistic critical thought. More harm has been done to the collective human psyche by religion than by all the f*cking and c*cks*cking since the dawn of time. By the way, many religious people (including the ordained) f*ck and s*ck each other's c*cks all the time.
So please don't go quoting me as if I am Ghandi or Ted Nugent or something. I ain't. I'm just a dirty comic who spent half my life hooked on nasty drugs that you should hope your children don't know about.
