You are more than welcome to the opinion that 14 is enough, as long as you concede that others may disagree.  As to each ministry - I can not comment on that.  You may be right, you may not be.

One thing I will say about the 14 houses of worship - do any of them provide the worship style that CC does?  Perhaps there are people who prefer to share their worship experience in large gatherings as well as small with an emphasis on a more contemporary music style?  Clearly this is not available in RT (unless there is a 3000 seat HoW I missed somewhere) so such people do not have the option that would most appeal to them, and will once CC moves in.

To CC shills,

Did someone or a group from RT approach Ireland or someone at CC and say that we need all those things that you are proferring?  How dare you to assume that just because you think that you have something to offer us that we must take it.  WE DO NOT WANT ANY OF IT.  WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SPIRITUAL NEEDS COVERED.

Unless of course, you at CC have made the independent determination that RT's HOWS are not sufficient for our own good and that you are going to help save us from ourselves whether we think that we need that help or not.  It goes back to your superiority complexes that your religion is the only pathway that one can have in order to have a relationship with G-d.  Is that not the Fundy Evangelical Philosophy.

Answer: Yes it is, and go away.

Thankful - word of advice, let it be, your point has been well made, and not surprisingly not accepted.  Craig the Genius has spoken for all residents of RT - he knows exactly what they all want and need and will speak authoritatively for them.  All bow down to the measured, reasonable, all-knowing genius of Graig Maier.

I know what you asking -  can anyone from cc or ireland answer that question.

evidently the answer must be NO , so there is no benefit to our town.

maybe when we go to the planning bd meeting - we can ask ireland himself before he goes on stage..

Thanks, Jarrett, but you are giving me much more credit than I deserve.  But it really nice to see the arrogance of CC comming out here.  I love it.  I am sure that some other people in town are becomming a bit enlightened about this cult and what it is up to.

And notice that they still have not answered my Referendum question.  They could care less what we want.  It is all about what they want.  I, Me, My, Mine.  It's all about money and not an ioda about spirituality.  If they were spiritual, they would not be shoving themselves down  our collective throats.

Anyone agree here?

(( Anyone agree here? ))
Not I. But ... before I get labelled as being a shill/troll/pro cc/whatever ... let me reiterate my position of being non-organized religion. I've stated this in previous postings.
...
(( ... the arrogance of CC comming out here. ))
It's not CC's arrogance that *I* see coming out here.
...
(( I am sure that some other people in town are becomming a bit enlightened about this cult and what it is up to. ))
It's not [any] 'cult' that *I* am being enlightened to, I can say that much!
...
(( And notice ... not answered my Referendum question. ))
There's nothing to answer. The "Referendum question" is rhetorical.

Bystander,

Waaaa!  I thought that you had taken your ball and gone home.  Please do and while you are at it, ask your mommy for a change.  you are dripping again.

Most people who view this board can see the arrogance of CC comming out here.  Bystander has no horse in this race and really has no business chatting here even though this is a free speech board.  I think that Bystander is clearly a cc shill to be ignored: - clearly a good friend of Matthews.

Do not forget that Ireland has stated under oath that he will not hire any non Christ Church Christians (no Jews, no Catholics, no Buddahists, etc) to work in his so called church, school, gymnasium, store, cafeteria, etc, etc.  He claims to be diverse, but not when it comes to hiring practices.  Actually, he is very discriminatory and has not problems whatsoever in being that way.  Did everyone know that cute little tidbit?

Actually, from her posts and links, I believe Bystander and I would disagree on almost any weighty issue.  But it's obvious because of her maturity and ability to stay above the sillyness on this board that most anyone could honestly debate her on any issue without fear of being insulted by her or her being offended by opposing views.

Bystander and Matthew - - - the voices of civility.  LOL!  Good one.

Still never answered my theoritical referendum question.  But we know the answer anyway so just forget it.

You both belong to a very exclusive club - - - Irelands club.  Just how much do they pay you folks?

I think most on this board would be honored to be in a club with Bystander.  I believe Lisa Salberg had MANY kind words to say to her.  So Lisa would be in the Club as well.

How many would like to be in your club, Craig?

P.s. Do you have any mirrors in your house?

(( ... I would disagree on almost any weighty issue... ))

Yeah, I agree that more often than not we'd likely disagree on the issues... nothing personal, though.

(( ... stay above the sillyness on this board ... ))

My poor computer monitor is the only one who hears my (verbal) replies to the nonsense I read on the messageboard. And the walls too. I tone it down, though, when the family's home cause otherwise they might think mom's gone completely bonkers! LOL

(( ... honestly debate her on any issue without fear of being insulted by her or her being offended by opposing views ... ))

Thanks for the kind words... makes it worthwhile to know that at least someone out there understands what I'm all about here online.

Take care,

-B.

You can see that diversity is real important to Ireland.  He does not think too much of himself and his religious superiority, right?

Now you are an expert on Jesus, Craig?  I thought His words were "repugnant" to you?  Remember "No one comes to the Father...".

And I've got some news for your regarding CC: Jesus already works there.

You people really need to get a grip on reality. JC would be ashamed at how you are all acting - how you are treating each other - Jews or Christians... God would be upset with your actions... have you not heard "love each other" - stop looking at what makes you all different and start looking at what makes you the same.

OH and CC is too big for Rockaway... and that does not make me a bad person for thinking so!!!!!
