RE: Concerned Citizens

I believe a judge deemed your suit frivilous and that says it all. If you have others that support your point of view, let them be seen and heard.

As for the problems at Copeland eing corrected, you are wrong.  In the late 80's over crowding began - improvements were attempted yet shot down - the second attempt passed - once building began - hit snags and was completed - the school had outgrown the changes.

Now we have more housing in town (leaving foxhills out) there are more families, more large homes and more children. You claim my thoughts about an under estimate of the demographics is incorrect..based on what data do you dismiss my opinion?

I have been listening to your "opinions" for far too long - your failed attempts at Mayor, your attack against the families who founded Voices of Rockaway and now your "grass roots" efforts to bash our school system.

You are not an elected official - you do not have the support of the community and your efforts simply get in the way of helping our children get a good education.

Did you have a bad childhood?  are you attempting to damage the children of Rockaway to fulfill some emptiness? Or is it true you are just a sad and angry man?

You attempt to discredit me instead of discussing pertinent facts. I'll bite this time just to set the record straight

Sir or madam, I was on the BOE when the expansion passed. The problems were resolved with only two snags that I know of. One was that they expect the find rocks but they didn't but found a way to spend the $800,000 contingency, set up for that purpose anyway. The other was that we weren't allowed to cut trees during the nesting season of the Brown Bat.

Unfortunately, you're mistaken. No Judge was involved with my ethics complaints. The legislature bestowed the power to fine on a group of (what appear to be) exteachers. Like a Group of teachers are gonna rule against teachers. Normally I avoid leaning into left hooks but I had no other choice, I did the right thing and they didn't. Interestingly, it cost me $500 ($510 with postage) to expose the ethics violations and the BOE frivolously expended $10,000 (their estimate) to get out of the jam.

Obviously, you don't know the facts but if you learn the facts instead of arguing history. you'll find that we don't need to build a school. Thanks for your interest

So instead of figuring out a resonable way of "exposing" this wrong doing...you cost the BOE 10,000 bucks.

Very effective...gee...I wish you were mayor...not.

Wow, Ted! Way to save the taxpayers money! Good thing you're making sure the Board of Ed isn't wasting our funds.

It's a comfort, truly.

Yeah, it' really amazing. They said my complaints were frivilous but it cost $10,000 to get a favorable decision from their own kind.  I don't blame you guys for being angry.  I am too.

Back to the point.  there is no evidence that a school is needed and it will cost millions.  Facts show we don't need it now orin te future.  Just like we didn't need the $18 million referendum a few yeasrs ago.  We did more than enough with the $11 we spent.

We were smart enough not to overspend then, lrts not do it now.

If it takes a school construction project to keep Dr. Ireland out, so be it.  Any excuse that we can develop to take 140 GPR by eminent domain is a real good tradeoff for the township.

The only connection between buiding a school and CC is if the BOE chooses the Agilent property.  My point is that any choice is wrong because we don't need a school

Sir,

Have you not noticed that a certain Reverend Dr. David Ireland has decided to take over Rockaway Township?  Where have you been, sir?  Even if we do not need a school for the sake of the kids, we certainly need a good excuse to take that property, or are you living on another planet, sir?  If Christ Church comes to town, there is no more Rockaway Township as we know it, so the rest of the discussion is entirely moot, sir.

I'm not involved with any of that.  What I do know is that a school is not needed and no matter what its location it will be nad for our town

Boy, if anyone was ever reaching out for help tED.

Yes tED, you did cost me and the rest of the taxpayers in town real hard earned cash with your frivolous b.s. lawsuit. I would love to see the BOE fire back with a lawsuit of their own. I guess Craig may gain some satisfaction for all of us.

Your pathetic little group (all 3 of you) is laughable sport!!!

Keep in touch with yourself tURD...
