I see someone already posted todays article in the Daily Record. We have known that Marci Hamilton was in the wings should it become neccessary to use her skills. It is now clear that Rockaway Twp has done what is in the best interest of the residents. It is clear that our elected officials see the same issues as the overwhelming majority of residents do and are willing to use all tools available to do what is best for the town.
We have been hard at work with our team to ensure that Rockaway Twp is protected from this and other projects of this size. While we are unable to comment further at this time with specifics, please know it will all be very clear very soon.
The next planning board meeting is Wed. May 19, 2004 at Morris Knolls - 8pm. This may be an important meeting with the future direction of the application likely to be detimined.
We hope to see many of you at the meeting and remember to bring a friend, tell a neighbor and be part of the process (pro or con - you all should be there).

vORT had its letter published yesterday. So we all know that you knew. One question however, "How did your so called citizen group know about thisbefore the rest of us did?". I'm getting the feeling that vORT is not a citizen group at all. Do you operate at the direction of Sceusi and the council?

Of course we all know that VORT & the mayor are inseparably linked. We've seen the cars parked at night outside a certain office on Greenpond Rd.
The fact that you attack instead of responding is, at the very least evidence connecting the mayor to vORT. You got trouble my friends, trouble with a capital "T".
As far as I can tell, the mayor is available for anyone to meet or chat with. I have personally chatted with him fairly extensively on the telephone about 4 times in the last 6 months. His number is published and he is very cordial. The first time I called him, he returned my call withing a day. I am sure that if I had asked to meet with him one on one, he would probably agree as he would with anyone else in town. After all, he even met with people who have nothing to do with this town - - - guys named Ireland and Schundler.
So, what is so strange here? Looking for a conspiracy? Enjoy your paranoia.
The news of Marci Hamilton was released several weeks ago. The media was well aware that she was spoken to by the town. We have never spoken to Marci Hamilton directly.
Again, Mr. Doty is reaching for some cloak and dagger conspiracy, where none exsists. Where the vehicle of one of VORTS members is parked has nothing to do with the mayor.

Are you telling me that if the township hired Marci Hamilton and a VORT member spoke to Dimin or Scuesi or any of 20 other people about it before it was 'released to the press' that a crime was committed?

It proves that the Mayor(at least) is NOT objective, as he is required to be.
Further it proves a link between the municipal government and vORT. Clearly, their grass roots effort is not grass roots at all. Haven't you ever wondered how vORT pays for its lawyers, etc.
