I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and is having a nice Chanukah! In our home we celebrate both so we are still in the midst of holiday activities!
On the topic of the Christ Church application some letters have been recieved by the DEP that raise many questions that require a great amount of research, I think you may learn about one of them in tomorrow Star Ledger. Regarding the tax issue in todays paper I am sure our tax department has conducted a complete review of the law prior to rendering a decision on this important matter. I am just as sure that Christ Church will attempt to bully the town again with threats of litigation as indicated in Mr. Whinestein's comments, a rather bold step to call something 'unconstitutional' when you are a PR guy and not an attorney.
Last week I sent an email to both Christ Church and the Chabad regarding those horrible statements made on Snowflacks BLOG - I recieved a call from the Rabbi who was very concerned as of this time Christ Church has been silent over the posts that attempts to divide a community with fear. The comments compairing Crown Heights to WML and Christ Church members is an outrage to ALL of us regardless of your views on a building project. While we can agree to disagree we can also agree to agree that these comments are hurtful, hateful and wrong for EVERYONE.
The next meeting is January 9th, notify your friends and neighbors.
Happy New Year to all! Lisa

The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.
