Thank you Curious, for your thoughts. I know it's not good to steroetype, but Matthew was the only one answering (well...making statements...he still never answered the questions asked of him) from a fundamentalist Christian point of view...I have a very hard time with his original statement that he (paraphrasing) doesn't see any of those other religions getting people to heaven...

I have queried members of Fundamentalist Evangelical Sects and also of Roman Catholic Priests the questions presented. Please do not second guess what I have reported as the results that I have gotten.

Please do the following. Make your own phone calls with the compound question that I presented and then get back to me and tell me that I am mistaken. Til then, you will just have to trust me that I have reported the answers to my compound question accurately.

I would ask "Curious", in (his/her) view, how those (Jews, Muslims, Budhists) will get to Heaven?

I never said there would be no Jews, Muslims, Budhists in Heaven. For Heavens sake, the Apostles were Jews, and my best guess is that they're in Heaven.

I simply stated that I didn't see those religions offering admittance to Heaven within their doctrine. And it appears that Craig and Jay would fully agree with me on this. For when I asked them what Jewish laws had to be followed to gain admittance to Heaven, they said "none" and "there is no bar". They said that one had to be a "good person" and God would judge.

I'm not saying that's a bad way to look at it, but you can certainly be a "good person" without being a member of any religion, can't you?

So (to anyone here) are those "other" religions serving the purpose of getting anyone into Heaven?

So, with this logic, it can be concluded that you believe that the terrorists who flew the planes into the World Trade Center, Pentagon & PA field are all in Heaven.

Because it is quite clear that they truly believed that their religion had told them that's where they would go.

You really do not know what the HELL you are talking about. Go study something about Judaism before opening your trap. Jews do believe that souls are rejoined with G-d. We are just not exclusionary like you Fundies are. I am completely amazed by the ignorance!

Before you claim to understand your Christianity, why not go out and understand the foundation of it which is Judaism. Then you will be somewhat qualified to open your mouth on these topics. Else, you come across idiotic.

Here's what I conclude--They believed they were going to their heaven. Are they in their heaven? Maybe, but I don't believe so.

Are they in my heaven? I don't believe so, because they weren't what I consider a positive force in the world. They did no good, according to what I was brought up to believe.

I am trying to understand how you think a Jew gains entrance to Heaven.

Please explain this to me.

If you have any understanding of the other world religions, please explain how their members get into Heaven as well.

Can you answer these questions?

The light just lit up for me! I just got it.

All that I have to do is accept Jesus as my Saviour and I too can partake in heaven even though I am Jewish. Duh! How dumb of me not to have figured that out on my own.

Dear Matthew,

What is your obsession with heaven and hell? What is your obsession with Hitler?

I know you will claim you are seeking information on religion but it is clear you have some very deep issues that require attention. Do you fear you own mortality? Are you afraid you are going to be held accountable for your actions here on earth? Why must you reply with "chapter and verse" rather than your OWN opinion.

Remember - God gave us free will and we ARE judged on HOW we use it.

If you are of the belief that you have a "get out of jail free card" simply because you claim to acccept Jesus as your savior - better head back to the books cause you have it VERY wrong.

Before you attempt to judge other religions and before you PREACH to others (which is what you have been doing) you had best know what it is you speak of.

Further, in case you forgot this country honor everyones right to believe what they want and pray as they wish...even if that means you choose to follow a cult OR the Catholic Church.

Matt, your postings have been on the edge of sanity at times. I think you need time off of the board to reflect on your anger.

i am the secretary of a newly forming bike club (about 13 members so far - with all different kinds of bikes)...

we don't own a bike...but are thinking about getting one...

i just went for my first ride last month...LOVED IT!!!

the club is involved with a good charity (for the troops)...that's how our involvement started...

I can assure you that this is not my sister or a member of my family; the information is 80 % incorrect without getting into details (which is a dead give-away to me).

I think that ireland is trying to smear my name via information gained via a private investigator and/or a PR firm and they are just doing a terrible job of it.

Note that this stuff began flying about after my request for a new town ordinance? Remember the AlleyOpp thing that popped up a few weeks back and after my letters to the town council? Also, remember that recently it appears that someone took over control of the nj.com site and censored one of the members of this forum?

It seems to me that anyone interested in discovering their genealogical roots would simply sit down with their family and go through it and learn about it. You are a fake, phoney and a fraud. I do not get your game or what you expect to accomplish with this line of yours.
