It has become clear to me that it is time for me to mosey on out of here for once and for all. This is my last message for this bbs ... I will not post under this or any other nickname. The forum administrator(s) can verify the accuracy of this statement by checking the ISP I have used to date and checking it against any suspicious nicknames in the future.
Please allow me a few comments before I go.... These are random and in no particular order.
To: Craig et al -- For what it's worth ... the reason I asked about a search engine on this web site was that I hoped to be able to do a search to find all MY posted messages. I wanted to re-read them and review them in order to try and determine whether or not some of the accusations and allegations that have been made about me recently were, in fact, substantiate-able or not.
I've asked for verification, specifics, proof, evidence (call it whatever) for some of the conclusions and opinions that people have come up with based on my writings on this bbs (see thread titled: To: Maria et al re: nicknames & identity .. .. and thread titled: Gossip Control ...) .... I've received no direct and specific answers to my requests. My next option, therefore, was to try and retrieve ALL my posted messages and read through them as an archive to try and determine HOW THE HECK some of these conclusions and opinions might have been formulated based on what I've said.
To: EVERYONE -- For what it's worth ... I have NOT ever been directly asked whether or not I support cc coming to Rockaway (I have been asked whether or not I support a school, though, and I did answer that question - see the last message posted in the thread titled: To: Maria et al re: nicknames & identity .. ..). No one has EVER asked me straight up whether or not I support the cc coming to Rockaway. Again, it seems that conclusions and opinions have been made one way or another of what I allegedly believe based on what I've posted.
And...for what it's worth to anyone here -- I suspect Craig will find this particularly interesting to read -- and this is ON THE RECORD ... I do NOT support cc coming to Rockaway. I am, for anyone who's interested or who cares, anti-organized-religion-of-any-type. I would prefer to see ANYTHING but a church at that location.
To: EVERYONE -- I'm mentioning this because the issue of my own personal residency has been brought up in the messages in that I'm a non-Rockaway resident (this appears to be a problem for some) ... Whereas it's correct that I am not a Rockaway resident -- suffice it to say that I am a Morris County resident ... a resident who MIGHT be impacted by the arrival of cc in Rockaway. I never thought it mandatory to have to be a Rockaway resident in order to participate in this bbs, though.
If it is the desire of some the people of this message bbs to allow only participants who fit into pre-determined criteria (eg. can only live in Rockaway in order to participate in the messageboard) .. then I suggest it necessary to change the title of the forum itself to something else besides what it is now. As I see it this bbs is open to anyone around the world. There are subjects discussed here (eg. religion, education, municipality) that could be relevant and enlightening to anyone anywhere. These discussions, for example, could be relevant and educational for anyone in another State who's also contemplating this whole mega-church issue. You just NEVER know who reads a message board that is on the internet. who knows - maybe even the POPE has been told of this bbs !!!!!!!!! Clearly I exagerate but I hope I've made my point for MY being here.
To: EVERYONE -- I've questioned and engaged in debate and discussion for the purpose of clarification of the things people say in their messages and the words and, as a result of this I have been allegedly labelled as a troll, a bigot, an 'ilk,' etc etc. I don't recall ever having taken any of MY postings to that personal of a level as to call anyone a 'negative adjective.' And, as I don't RECALL having done that -- I wanted to verify my recall by researching ALL my posted messages on this bbs. (hence the request about a search engine - see above).
I've intentionally and deliberately remained NEUTRAL in my postings and for some unbeknownst reason, this has been interepreted by some as being indicative of TROLL LIKE behavior. (see troll message exchange in thread titled: Gossip Control). I say intentionally because I have had to control the desire to 'go on the offensive' with some of the messages that have been posted to me recently.
To: EVERYONE -- I've been told that I'm a troll and I've said that I am not. I know I am not. Not much more that I can do at this point. It's as someone said elsewhere (I think it was Craig) .. if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, etc etc.. then it's a duck. The same applies to my NOT being troll.
And finally ...... I had hoped that my participation and contribution in this alleged free speech message bbs would have had a more positive impact than it appears to have had after all. I had hoped that my style of debate and discussion would have allowed and helped people to participate online in a more diplomatic and less emotional and opinionated fashion.
I realized earlier today that that does not appear to be possible here on this bbs ... and, as such, it is best for me to exit quietly and gracefully.

Sorry to see you go. I have found your comments to be rather "on the fence". I was never clear on your position on the application, but thought you would share it when and if you wished.
If you do not mind posting one last time - I would like to know where you are from... not to keep you off of this board (I do welcome ALLL opinions!!), but to know what other communities are concerned with this issue.
