Thanks for explaining to me what YOU meant with your original "faith and faith alone" statement.  I agree(d) with that statement from a personal spiritual standpoint only. (I probably should have clarified that and I didn't, so my bad, sorry) ...  Had nothing to do with starting a religion etc etc... THAT's a whole different kettle of fish (to me) and when it comes to the latter, I again agree with you insofar as not supporting certain dogmas that could be created and imposed by some wackos in the world.


You and I do have some common ground agreement on more than I think you might realize.  It's the blurriness of  the methodology and approach that creates the troubles.

I don't see anything in the Bible against drinking.  Jesus supplied wine to a wedding party.

My statement was based purely on the fact that I am not interested in religious debate, I don't drink (brewskies or Tequila), I don't smoke (tokes or otherwise) and I don't take Ritalin.


Sounded like a pretty boring party to me (shrug) - hence my contribution of the "I'll stay home."

Hmmm.  I think about 2 % of my posts have been Bible quotes.  Take a look at my questions of Lisa regarding her rumor mongering.  No Bible verses there!

I answered Jays questions about who is going to Heaven.


My answer was "I don't know, I don't decide those things".


I believe that there's only one person that I know for sure is going to Heaven.

Your statement above is CLEARLY in opposition to your earlier statement when you claimed that you don't see other religions getting people into heaven.  You also did NOT answer any of my questions.  You've made many statements about religion, but yet when questioned for details, you post links to bible sites instead of giving answers.  I find that very disingenuous of you.
