Christ Church move should be welcomed
Every day for a year we drove an hour so our daughter could attend school at Christ Church in Montclair. We found Christ Church to be a wonderful community of very nice people, with an inspiring and magnificent pastor.
Christ Church would be nothing but an asset to Rockaway Township. I can't understand the township's reluctance to welcome this community to theirs. This is so strange because Christ Church will bring a sense of friendliness and cooperation I am sure Rockaway Township has never seen before.
Mayor Louis Sceusi, should also keep in mind his statement about "states' rights" is a red flag to black people. This term was used by politicians to combat integration in the South years ago.
I hope reason can prevail, but I am sure black people spend a lot of money in Rockaway Township's establishments. If the nice people of Christ Church are not welcomed, then none of us are welcomed. We will spend our money elsewhere.

It's true - residents of Rockaway Township have never seen such a sense of friendliness and cooperation before! Lies about our Mayor, lies about our citizens, insinuations that we're all a bunch of racists, threats of boycotts at the Mall.
Thank you Mr. Blair for offering the same friendliness (lies about racisim) and cooperation (threats of a mall boycott) that we've seen from Mr. Ireland over the past 2+ years.
