RE: Why Should we Pay for your Religion?

I suppose that if the Roman Catholic Church decided to move the Vatican to RT, that would just be fine by cc supporters.  No problem whatsoever for this tiny town of 24,000 peopole to deal with and support such an enterprise as the Vatican, right?  I gotta admit, these cc supporters completely dumbfound me!  When is big too big?  I say that it is when the proposed church is a Megachurch.  Let it go where it is wanted and the infrastructure can support it without devastating the town resources and intefering with the rights of the local citizens who have to support these things.

But nah,  cc supporters think that we should just dig deep and keep the money rolling for their benefit to provide all the things that they will require of us.  We should all just shut up and keep digging deep.  LOL.  Never happen.

Here's another thought to enter into the fray...

From what I understand, there have been several instances, and I think even in NJ, where municipalities HAVE sucessfully taxed religious organizations for parts of their property/enterprise that do not have anything to do (directly) with religious worship. If RT gets stuck with this behemoth, they should research that aspect and tax the hell out of the 2/3 of the property that isnt the "sanctuary".
