Here are my observations about last nights meeting:
1. I noticed three other guys sitting with the Ireland crew. One was up on the stage. Two others (who collaborated on several occasions) were sitting in the front row.
2. I suspect that these guys are from the Becket fund.
3. It seems pretty clear that the planning board will toss this over to the Board of Adjustment next meeting. That will be the commencement of the legal war unless the property is condemmed by the BOE between now and the next planning board meeting.
4. Politicians: Do not mistake a lack of public attendance at boring planning board meetings with lack of public interest in this situation by the residents of RT.
1 - There were only half as many people there as last time because they all knew that The Genius (aka The Town Loon) would not be stepping up to the microphone so they knew there would be no imprudent "entertainment".
2 - When I list my points with numbers, they look better.
3 - I really don't have anything else to say.
4 - But don't these numbers look important!

We had plenty of entertainment --> Listening to Ms. Burger's beatiful voice was so very entertaining...Like hearing the spring robins again, after a long cold winter. Also - amazing how old that building is...I even noticed a few mice in the room --> enjoyed watching them scurry around the corner of the room...not sure where they were going, but trying to get there....
Lots of entertainment for all...Most stayed home with their families...Here in Rockaway, most of our homes consist of solid families - with parents and everything (not to name names, but that fact may be beyond the comprehension of people from other areas of NJ)...
