6849. Mayor may step down next week by meadtown, 10/21/05 14:53 ET The mayor spoke to some of his team today and is concerned about the backlash he has caused and is thinking about stepping down as part of a deal with the Department of Justice
Since the losers at the tED and rUsS online forum like to read and write about this forum, lets see how they spin THIS lie.
Well Matthew - does the mayor have a "TEAM" like the LIARS for HIREland post about???

Hey thinker - I hadn't seen you posted the same thing, LOL!!!!
I guess great minds think alike - which must explain why there is no thought going into the posts of the cc supporters at nj.con (sadly, only LIES).
pruned from time to time Russ??? Is that what you call it? Is that what you call the pack of lies being told by your SHILLS over there - mayor hires VORT...mayor fires VORT...mayor's got a PR team????
....Remember, more money = closer to G-d.

"I had a nice personal conversation with the Rabbi of the chabad in White Meadow Lake, and post the following remark with his permission:"While I do not like to pass judgement, I can see why the people of our community are so up in arms with the strong arm tactics of another religious leader and his institution. It is a shame that these things could not be resolved, as the posturing of any religious institution goes against the teachings of G*D"."
"In case you missed it the first time around. How old is the quote you keep bringing up? What was the day this article was posted in the daily record?
Come on, if you have nothing to hide but outdated material, why in the world would you not answer such a simple question.
As for what I posted in regards to my conversation with the Rabbi of the chabad in White Meadow Lake. it happened, what was posted was indeed spoken by him, and there is nothing you can ever do to hide that fact. Remove the posts as you have done already, but that will still not change the truth. Not here, and not before g*ds eyes......"
I guess that the rEV called in yet another airstrike on the nj.con board...this Bill guy has hIS panties in a bunch...
I cannot believe how Bill saying he spoke to the Rabbi can cause such chaos on NJ.con. All the posts were deleted and now it's bombarded with cc supporter(s???). The Chabad should never have been brought up in regards to cc. There's no comparison. Yet, the inane banter was posted hour after hour. Whether the Rabbi really said it, I hope so, but I don't know. And it really doesn't matter in regards to this massive campus that will consume RT if it gets in. I don't think anyone in their right mind believes anything on NJ con, though most of what RT posts is accurate. By the way that board looks, RT is winning. And win we must. Just dealing with the mess these last two weeks with the paving on GPR, I realized, with traffic backed up like that there's no way any emergency vehicles can get through, never mind the residents trying to get around in a timely fashion. The blind curve near 140 would cause endless accidents if a light was put on the corner. The widening of the road would also be an insult to the residents that live there. And with the streams that are on the property being polluted by the hundreds of cars and such well it's a nightmare waiting to happen. So spin on cc supporter(s???). The more you spin and lie the more we know we're winning! We won't be like Parsippany as far as being out of control, but like Parsippany and ever other town that is fighting massive building that will downgrade the quality of life in their communities, we will keep fighting and doing our best to keep our community OURS!
The Chabad and cc should never be included in the same sentence together. Their ethics and practices are diametrically the opposite of one another. Most significantly, one is a spiritual HOW bringing good things to our community. The other is a parasitic business trying to suck the life blood out of the town.
The Chabad gives back much more than it takes in.
cc is all about:
I
ME
MY
MINE
It is repulsive and disgusting. Even more disturbing to me is this question:
Where is the Christian Outrage about this? Is this just normal Christian values being expressed here? I guess maybe so, since there is utter silence from the various Christian leaders in our area. That is scary!
Rat - I will disagree with your views on this one. Just like our Mayor and planning board has to treat the "pious" rEV with kid gloves, so do our existing houses of worship. As a Christian I am offended by you not realizing this - it is an enormous game of political correctness, and Religious leaders, just like elected officials, have to have a public image of neutrality. It is sad but true in these namby pamby times we find ourselves living in. We need to let the laws work for us - leave the rEV to implode hiS own mega-dream - given enough time hE will collapse under hiS own considerable weight.
hE would love nothing better than to pit neighbor against neighbor here in Rockaway - a house divided and all that...
p.s. - f*ck yoU tED and rUSS...oh yeah - and wHinnY too...
While I appreciate your candor, now is not a time for political correctness, IMHO. Much damage is being done in the name of Christianity by this individual.
One could conclude that so long as one believes in JC, all sins are forgiven. Certainly, it comes off that way with Ire-Land and his Conspicuous Consumption business. So maybe, what the hell, do whatever you want to do, cause at the end of the day, it does not matter in the eyes of G-d.
Ya see, by not condemming it, Christian leaders are condoning this behaviour by default. That is just my view. I would bet that there are others that share it, many unwilling to express the same.
I think leaders of all faith must speak from the heart. If they really feel Ireland is to be respected I can live with that, if they say it just to be PC that is wrong.
I feel the leaders don't want to speak out for some reason. The DOJ is on the take when it comes to churches so the only hope is the DEP obeys the law.
Does anyone know what Forrester thinks about this?
On a happy note if CC does move here it will take years to build this church plenty of time to get out of town.. I still think the DEP will save the day or I hope so
Rat - do you know if the Rabbi has changed his views on this mega-church since he spoke with the raggard last year?? Since he was the one willing to back the rEV (sort of) in a newspaper article, perhaps he should show others the way by contacting jENNings and setting the record straight.
I do NOT believe this is a religious issue with our houses of worship - just look at the cut up job Spring-O'Brien has done to date on our Mayor, Council, Planning Board, Vort - you get the picture. Nobody wants to touch this a 200' pole - it cuts through all people the same. Sad but true.
If you go back and read that DR article, you will see that Rabbi Herson really side-stepped the issue. As far as I know, he has never referred to ireland as a wonderful man.
And yes, I do know a bit about what Rabbi Herson thinks of all this cc nonsense. After all, I am a member of the Chabad and we are friends with him and his wonderful wife. But, I am not willing to express his views in public. That would not only be hearsay, it would not be a morally correct thing to do. He is very capable of doing that himself, and much more eloquently than I ever could.
But, I am pretty sure if you ask him, he will respond. He is a very open and available human being.
BTW - the Chabad not only hires Jews, but Christians too. And, the various classes in things like the Hebrew Language are open to everyone without regard to religion. These classes cost more to put on than they take in. AND - the last thing that the Chabad is out to do is to Evangelize or convert anyone to the Jewish religion. As a matter of fact, it is taught down there that one will be seen equally in the eyes of G-d no matter what religious belief that you hold, so long as one follows the Noahide rules.
The Chabad is in an entirely different class. It should never be compared to cc in any way, shape or form.
Indeed the Chabad Center is an asset for our community, comprised for the most part from our community, and gives more than it could ever hope to recieve Rat.
You got it right - the Rabbi side-stepped the issue due to his need to remain neuteral on the issues at hand - perhaps the best we can hope for is a "no comment" like most of the other HOW's in town. (the desprate reV will use anything to latch onto).
It is a sad time we live in folks - reverse discrimination is exactly that - discrimination. I shudder to think of John Wayne looking down on how our Country has shook out - good and decent citizens have to worry about "political correctness" before we can examine common sense and justice.
The Chabad center would not even fill the CC cafe. I have never heard one bad things about them in all the years I have lived here. CC is not even here yet and I have heard enough already from them.
