Some Questions to Consider

The town well not only resides on Agilents property, but feeds the Agilent site.  When 25,000 people start attending services in the next 5 years (my opinion on these numbers) will the well, well pump power, and well tank capacity be able to handle the tremendous peak loading?  I really doubt it, but that is just my opinion.  Who will have to pay for the well pump expansion (more horsepower will be needed?  Answer, RT.  Who will have to expand the wellhead size?  Answer RT.  Who will be responsibe for installing the water tower to handle the peak load.  Answer: RT.  Who will have to maintain this new facility.  You got it, RT.

Again, the above are just my opinions.

Next point is that cc has a prisoner reform "ministry" and drug rehab also.  I understand that they are presently located in Montclair (but I am not sure).  Ireland says that he does not plan to move these to RT.  But, when the Montclair facility closes down, what happens to these ministries?  My bet is that they come out here.  Why?  Answer is simple.  All Ireland has to do is state that these Ministries are part of the dogma of his church and that RT has no right in interfering with his religious beliefs.  So, it is my opinion that we will have prisoner reform and drug rehab programs going on right here in town.  Lovely.

What do you folks think?

Again, at the risk of being redundant, all the opinions expressed above are mine and mine alone.  They are not VORT's nor anyone elses.  And they are just opinions.

I think that your opinions unfortunately make sense.  This project is clearly wrong for RT for a multitude of reasons.  Hopefully our leaders will not allow themselves to be intimidated into approving something so clearly wrong for this location and instead will protect the interests of RT residents.
