He's still got no approvals to build, and in fact, just had his DEP exemption pulled out from under him. The "foot in the door" will not help him win any approvals and without those, his plans are sunk.

I wonder how much the basic hvac and grounds maintenance are costing - has to be a big chunk of change. How can this guy justify this expense for 50 people??? I imagine it will grow old real quick as this folly drags on...
My bet is they will start with the 50 people in the office. Then it will be the book and video publishing business, then seminars called meetings, then the radio and TV studios, etc, etc, etc. Any one of them, nothing to raise an eyebrow over since it all seems innocently like the previous business. Once they have all of their money making businesses in there and going then it will be a hardball push for the building of the sanctuary and bringing in the masses. By that time they figure people will have forgotten about them, or they will have such a stranglehold on the town, it wont matter.

I got a Phd in Divinity which took me about 30 minutes online. I had to answer 20 multiple guess questions the first of which went as follows:
"Which of the following brought the law down from Mt Sinai?"
A. President Roosevelt B. Lincoln C. Moses D. Jesus
LOL!! Besides getting my Phd in Divinity, I also have a 4.0 GPA based on the test!
Next, I went on to get my Ordained Minister papers. That took about the same amount of time online. Neither of these credentials cost me a penny.
So, yes, I also am a Dr. Rev Rat, Phd. just like ireland.
ps I understand that Karen took the same test that I took in the name of someone else who wanted to become a Minister. But I will let her tell you about that.

To be fair, Ireland's online PhD is from an actual university and required a couple of years of study. My point was, it only takes money and time to get those titles, (however as Rat discovered it doesn’t really take either).
IMHO: Anything after undergraduate is just for career advancement unless you are in the medical field. I think I actually got dumber after getting my MS. But it made me more respected and marketable in my profession.....go figure.
