still not there...

Just visited the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) to see if CC is there yet. Looked under Christ Church NJ, Christ Church Montclair, and David Ireland. Go figure no matches.

Billy Grahm set up this group in 1979 to disclose financial integrity on the part of Evangelical Institutions. There are 1,182 members to date. But not Ireland. Wonder why he still will not disclose his financials????

Quoting:

"Billy Grahm set up this group in 1979 to disclose financial integrity on the part of Evangelical Institutions."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is there anyone on this planet other than his cult following who has not figured out that he has is a man with no integrity?

They may both be evangelical, but I know of no relationship. Unless of course they may have both had members on Pat Robertson's assasination committee.

hmmm...I'm not so sure, for some reason I was thinking cc (or maybe Ireland) was a part of the Billy Graham something or other.

At one point, he comapred his church or preaching style to Billy Graham. I think it may have been in the first propaganda mailing.

I'm not sure if the ECFA has approved the "Give more money is closer to God, and less money is closer to the Devil" formula yet.

From the "dispel the myths" propaganda:

..."The Church’s beliefs are identical to those of Rev. Billy Graham, the internationally known minister.

In fact, Rev. David Ireland, Ph.D., Christ Church’s senior pastor, recently served on a 30-member ministerial committee organized by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association...."

See, I should think he'd be anxious to conform to whatever standards Billy Graham deems appropriate, to make sure there's no question about the church's financial integrity...

I think Ireland is more of a subscriber to the Dr. Phil philosophy of "do anything to make $".

Billy Graham Evangelistic association is so big they probably have thousands of these 30-member committee's. Just more spin from the PR firm.
