What is it with the supporters of CC?
Do you really need to search for double entendres, that could be twisted for your purposes into titillating so-called racist remarks??? Do you think false accusations will make CC’s opponents go away??
Do you hope it will win your case??? Or are you trying to make everyone so hypersensitive that we care not to tread on your precious mistreated toes???
You know…If you search hard enough you’ll find bigotry…Get over it…sadly, prejudice has always been part of life, and unfortunately it still exists in a small portion of society, thank goodness it’s a small part of the population.
By the way…if you look hard, you’ll find bigotry of race, religion and orientation in any town…yes… even Montclair….it’s not isolated.
I’m a member of a minority, and have dealt with prejudice, all my life, but never cried about it to anyone. Never had I used the bigot/race card to further my cause, add weight to my debate, get sympathy, or advantage the way some proponents of Christ Church are.
I just don’t believe in reverse discrimination. I earn my victories on my performance.
All this race crap does not change the key issues that the more reasonable, upstanding people opposing CC’s move to Rockaway continue to repeat over and over again:
It’s not about religion or race
It just does not fit.
We don’t see benefits outweighing drawbacks-not even close
Taxes
Environment
Traffic
Infrastructure stresses
Bottom line…Six flags over Ireland is not wanted by many upstanding people, and the fight is for upstanding reasons.

Just so we understand each other a little better....A couple of questions for you, since you care to offer comment, but make neither a constructive or substantial statement....
Do you live in Rockaway? Do you stand to benefit in any way if the "church" were to move to Green Pond Road? Are you in any way affiliated or employed by Christ Church or any of it's Law Firms, PR firms or any other company that serves CC or Ireland?
And the last question.....is your real name Russ or Ted?

I am not Charlie, but I have posted here several times to expose the absurb positions taken by many of the vocal opposers, and I feel inclined to answer these questions.
I am not against CC coming to town, nor am I strongly in favor of it. I have realized that there seems to be no legal method to clearly deny them. And it appears that many here realize this too, that's why they're banking on the eminant domain process.
