My wife attended the pb meeting last night without me since I am on a very protracted business meeting in Florida. She went hoping that this would be the end of this business. But it wasn't as you know. But she reported to me something that was not reported elsewhere as far as I can tell. Wendy Burger give an ultimatum to the PB. She said that they have until December of this year to approve the cc application. My question is "what is the consequence if we do not - - - more lawsuits?"
Does anyone who was there agree with her assessment?
The planning board has a set period of time to hear an application. They can at the end of that time choose to grant the application or not - however if all testimony is not complete the applicant can 'grant' an extension so that more testimony can be heard to judge the application on. If they do not 'grant' the application the board can deny the application - and the applicant can re-apply and start from the beginning.
It is all part of the process and this is at least the 4th extension granted so far.
