Wendy's Ultimatium

My wife attended the pb meeting last night without me since I am on a very protracted business meeting in Florida. She went hoping that this would be the end of this business. But it wasn't as you know. But she reported to me something that was not reported elsewhere as far as I can tell. Wendy Burger give an ultimatum to the PB. She said that they have until December of this year to approve the cc application. My question is "what is the consequence if we do not - - - more lawsuits?"

Does anyone who was there agree with her assessment?

It was no ultimatam, it is the same process all long applications take. She granted an extention thru 12/31/05 - this has been done since Dec03.

All part of the process

I wasn't there either...not sure I'd even fit in the chairs anymore.

But I'd be interested in knowing--what deadline she gave an extension of/for?

i.e., our Planning board has until Dec. 31 to approve their application? Like craig said, or what?

That sounds odd to me, maybe I misunderstood since I don't know the context...

The planning board has a set period of time to hear an application. They can at the end of that time choose to grant the application or not - however if all testimony is not complete the applicant can 'grant' an extension so that more testimony can be heard to judge the application on. If they do not 'grant' the application the board can deny the application - and the applicant can re-apply and start from the beginning.

It is all part of the process and this is at least the 4th extension granted so far.

Hope that helps clear this up a little.

Lisa
