3. source of personal satisfaction: something that somebody feels especially pleased and satisfied to own or to have achieved His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
PRIDE is what I feel for my community. PRIDE is what I feel about the majority of my neighbors. PRIDE is what I feel for my elected officials in Rockaway Twp.

The Nazi's used the same tactic. But as we all learned, it was false pride and evil. Thank God we were able to stop it. I just want to be clear on that

As usual the opinionated person resorted to a personal attack. He (or she) has come unglued because I don't see the world the way he does and he (or she) can't express feelings in a clear, consise way.
I do get a kick out of this...I also pity this person however
You have crossed a line there is no stepping away from. You have made accustions that are out right evil. How DARE you call me a NAZI for having PRIDE IN MY TOWN!!!
If one were to believe your warped view point ALL of Parsippany would be up on hate crimes for the "pride in Parsippany" billboard!
Do you REALLY understand what that word means? Do you know that I and my husband lost many family members at the hands of the NAZI's.
You are a very very sick man Mr. Doty. I do pity you and in the true Christian spirit wish you find help for all of your anger, distrust and hate for your neighbors. God Bless you Mr. Doty as He is the only one who can forgive you for such evil words and deeds.

OK, so the Nazis helped inform the public of something that was going on in their community, and the public had an opinion and became involved?
If that's what you're comparing, it's a bit of a stretch, Ted--I think anyway.
Come on tED. More personal attacks - I thought YOU were the one who does not like them. You are incredibly condescending - attacking others for the same faults you carry.
Who started the name calling - many months ago with your vORT statements (total lack of respect for a small group of people who built more respect and community backing in a few months than you did in years).
Now, you compare them to Nazis.
I am personally infuriated that you choose the the first full day of Passover, one of the holier days of the year for the Jews in this town, to bring up a Nazi comparison.
Filled with anger, you are. Anger leads to hate (yours, and the hate others feel towards you due to the man inflammatory statements you make) Hate leads to suffering (we all suffer from you tED). The dark side has tempted you and you have fallen to the dark side.
"Almost always the opinionated person (Lisa for example) or group( (vORT for example) resort to nonsensical personal attacks. They fall apart because someone doesn't see the world the way they do."

No, Clueless Karen made that comparison.

We're not talking about your husband here...or his family. Do you understand that the Nazi movement instilled what you call pride to spew hate; much like the vORT movement.

tED you have really outdone yourself this time. Seek help asap dude - I am sure a few years in therapy will help you with the bedwetting and and anger.
I have sat quietly watching you spew your obsessive rants about my wife. I have sat quietly and watched you twist people's words to fit your angry pointless agenda. I have sat quietly and watched you verbally attack innocent people. But no more.....
My parents came to Rockaway 44 years ago. The first American born generation since leaving Russia, and Poland. At that time there were many neighboring towns that the realtors would say "I'll sell you the house but you won't be welcomed there". They discovered Rockaway and found home. I was born here. I plan to live here forever. I love this town. Other than one or two ignorant souls, I NEVER dealt with anti-semitism or felt racism. There were Blacks, Jews, Italians, Poles, Germans, Puerto Ricans and Gays in Birchwood growing up. We live together harmoniously.
I don't know what dark sad world you come from, but HOW DARE YOU compare my wife to a NAZI for having pride in her town. I can't fathom what sick place in your mind that comparison could even come from.
I grew up seeing the tatoos on my aun't forearm. I saw my cousins cry as they talked about being seperated from loved ones by the SS. I learned of the relatives I never would know due to NAZI tyranny. Lisa lost family at the hands of NAZIs during the Norwegian occupation. I am dumbfounded by your blinding arrogance. Never have I met a person like you.
Your posts are a psychological study in manic depression and projection. This poisonous arrogance you spew in your illogical retorts are fascinating if not sad.
Whatever the outcome of this entire event, I will know I helped alleviate environmental, traffic, emergent and fiscal burdons from my town. Christ Church will find a suitable home where the good members can worship and celebrate G-D's love. A place that is harmonious to their needs and their neighbor's needs.
I don't know what you will take away with you when this is done.
