Just like starting over...... They lowered the square feet of the building, but they keep forgetting to add in the "underground parking" of somehting like 102k
Many rooms have been removed - No more Fitness center, sorry guys, the fellowship hall and some others.
The PB members went into an excutive meeting prior to starting the tesimoney, they were discussing the complaint that was served. Well we know what the answer was - they continued the meeting.
short but brief, more to come, have to get up early for work.
Play it again Sam... That is my take on the meeting.
The applicant provided NO footage numbers for any rooms, as per Mort Dicker he has never seen a plan with our measurements - and he has about 30 yrs on the planning board.
Many questions went unanswered - again - some of which we have been waiting for answers to since the very first meeting in Dec. 2003.
The total measurement of the building was reported as being smaller by 13% but they did not include the underground parking which is 103,000 sq ft which brings the total sq. footage up to 365,000 - an increase of about 80,000 sq ft.
They were quick to point out that the building is 190 feet further away from the town well - but they did not offer that the parking area is now closer to the town well and will be an increase in the parking area and intensity of use of the land closer to the well.
They are still not sure what kind of elevators will be used. They did claim that the footings for the building would need to be 3 foot 6 inches below the building. As of last night the applicant still did not have numbers on soil movement.
The important information is in the details - and last night they gave very broad statements and very little detail.
That is my take on the meeting. Lisa
