I do have an update of sorts - I spoke to Dean Betz at NJ.com this morning. He and I had a nice chat. I must say that I really believe they are attempting to do their best, however it is hard with some many "adults" acting the way they have been. Interestingly he said that the Rockaway board has been hard to moderate due to the posting of a few. They have tighted up the postings and will be watching for people who are "getting off topic" and "making personal attachs". You will notice a great many posting were deleted, most of them contained lies and defamation.
The people at NJ.com have had more than one meeting about Rockaway and they are keeping a keen eye on the board. Please notify the moderator in the event of any posting defaming, spreading lies or hate or items that are "off topic".
FYI - You may also note the number of posts to this board have gone down because ONE persons IP was blocked... THis person had been posting under MANY different name - AKA where has all the CC support gone??? Out with the one person who was stalking the board spreading lies.
Let's see there only two supporters of the CC application who actually live in town. One stands to profit financially and is of questionable character. The other is RTs Villiage Idiot who loves to argue and always stands at odds with the moral majority.
