That comment was MY opinion -- I don't have "people" -- and chances are, neither do you. Who do you think you are? A celebrity?
While we're on the subject, let's address the ass-licker Ireland.
Does anyone get the sham that his religion really is? He says he is a follower and representative of Jesus Christ. Well ... I think it's time to drag out the history books.
After his death, the followers of Jesus -- the Apostles -- set up a religion which came to be known as the Roman Catholic Church. Saint Peter was the first Pope. Popes, Bishops, Priests, etc. are the ONLY legitimate representatives of Jesus Christ on this planet. That's history and church law. Let's put it in simple terms -- Jesus was the CEO, and after his death the Board of Directors took over.
Throughout history, we have seen many "offshoots" of Catholicism -- Protestants, Lutherans, Baptists, etc. -- who liked the basic teachings that Jesus delivered, but couldn't handle the rules set up by the real church. That's right people -- all these splinter religions were created because someone didn't like to follow the rules. For example, Priest's cannot marry, yet Ireland has a wife (it must be hard to give up that piece of tail). I bet Ireland looks real good in the eyes of Christ -- He was beaten and nailed to two pieces of wood, yet the good Reverend can't stop pounding his wife's ass. Some sacrifice.
However, that also means that the leaders were denied the powers given to Roman Catholic leaders -- ability to forgive sins, the power to baptize in Christ's name, etc.
Don't you CC followers get it yet? You're being hosed by an actor. It's not a real church. This is a used car salesman out to steal your money and line his pockets with it.
Ireland has no power based on these historical facts (and they are VERY factual). He cannot help you get into Heaven. To use street terms, he has no "juice".
He is a fraud and a chump. Maybe that's why I dislike him as much as I do.
Maybe the "sham" church is the Catholic Church - the one that worships false idols in direct conflict with the Christian commandments, the one that tells its followers (sheep?) that they should not read and interpret the bible on their own, but must take direction only from church leaders, the one that says its followers (sheep?) can't pray directly to the Father, but must confess to a man, who will take it to man (only), who will take it to a man (only) who may take it to the Pope, who might just chat with God for you. Oh yeah, and then you can recite rote prayers to repent, not to God mind you, but to false idols. Hence the Protestant movement - the one to go back the the church Christ actually created. Hmmmmm
