OK here we go again ladies and gentleman....


Kim and I saw the new plans today.  In short we are back to square one!  The plans are completely different.  The design of the building is extremely different.  There is a great deal of newly paved parking areas.  The UNDERGROUND parking has grown.  The shape of the building is completely different.  The fitness center is gone.  The fellowship hall is gone, however there is a new space that appears it is an all purpose room.  There is no second chapel. The seating in the sanctuary is still 2512 and there are 1100 parking spaces.  The new plans do not include room by room measurements. 


Our evaluation of the plans and our knowledge of how this planning board treats residential applicants proves only one course of action for the planning board.  The planning board must demand new hearings from step one forward.  All reports and evaluations including traffic, fire, planners, design, engineering, environmental and other areas must be done over again as the entire layout has changed.  If anyone would like to see the plans either head over to the municiple building or call Kim or myself to arrange a time to look at out copy of the plans.


I would check the Star Ledger tomorrow for more information.

The truth wins out over slick PR and personal attacks. The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.

Wow, the fitness center gone? What a disappointment!


That leaves only the fields to entice RT residents to support CC...


I don't feel enticed.

I guess that means that the DEP will rule that the exemption is NULL and VOID and start their exemption process ALL OVER too!?!?

Again I must ask, with all the problems, trouble, money that cc is going through, why is it so important to build their mega center at 140GPR? Somewhere else would be cheaper, less problems, less environmental woes, wider roads, but they want 140GPR. WHY?

At this point in time, I think that they are just posturing themselves for a successful completion of their lawsuit.

I think Thinker brought out an excellant point. WHY does he want that property so badly? There is something that doesnt smell right (besides Dooty). Something else is in the mix that we havent seen yet.


I also like the not-so-veiled threat (again) that the twp officials havent been served with the lawsuit, YET.

Thanks to Lisa, Kim and the rest for taking the time to get the new plans, review them and let us know what is going on.
