did anyone else read the editorial? Looks like cc's pr has bought them out as well. It is time for Rockaway to hire a pr firm to counter this assasination by the local rags. Not one fact was mentioned in their piece - us "enemies of god" need to have a voice heard in the newspapers!
Does it matter? No facts are being presented against RT, because they are don't exist. They are just grasping at straws. However, in a court of law, facts and evidence must be presented. That's where RT will show our PR-the TRUTH.

I very much agree. I would love nothing better than to get a reporter to come and do an investigative report on what is going on. Unfortunately, we are dealing with forces other than a mega building that makes this topic too touchy and no one has the guts to take on this issue. If they did, they would clearly see that the only fight we are fighting is against a plan that is entirely TOO big for GPR, not what certain people are insinuating, especially CC.

It certainly does matter since a Jury will be determining what the so called "Truth" is. People read newspapers and people are prone to influence and therefore, ultimately, bias.
Without a PR firm, we are going into war with a sling shot against an army having 1000 F-16's capable of daily sorties using the full compliment of their arsenal. And we are waiting for the so called "Truth" to carry the day.
Ever asked yourselves what "Truth" really is? Give it some thought.
Then, if we want to win this thing, we absolutely MUST hire an exceptional pr firm.
For "so called truth" you still have to have evidence. There is no evidence that CC can present that will justify what they are accusing RT of. And with a jury trial it's only better for RT. Many people are tired of having their towns taken over by outside or even for that matter inside people who will damage the make up of their town. It's in the paper everyday. Towns are fighting for their towns to stop harmful building, traffic problems, etc. We will have the sympathy of the jury cause "for the grace of God goes I".
Of course, without waxing philosophical too much, the so called "truth" is relative to each human individual, except in matters of faith and religion. I will leave that one alone, - - - but I will say that it certainly will not help for us to present our cause and position to the public at large via a strong PR firm. We need to counter-bias the jury pool. And, if you've ever served on a Jury, you would know that, despite the admonitions of the judge, personal bias and prejudice does enter into the decision process equation in the Jury room.
Ireland knows the basic dynamics of human nature in this regard. How come we do not?
I must disagree. People are getting sick and tired of their rights as an average citizen and landowner being taken away because of PC.

Don't you think most people do see him as a bully, especially since he's trying to take over RT where NO members exist. Don't be fooled as Ireland. The basic dynamics of human nature is to preserve what you have invested most of your life savings in, your home. Most homeowners are fighting back against industry, developers etc trying to protect their investments being overun with environmental problems, traffic, etc. More are for what RT is trying to prevent than against us. Ireland hasn't calculated this. RT, with their new ordinance, hasn't said no to CC. Just smaller. Don't disregard this as a big point for a jury, especially when they all know this could happen in their backyards.
