Went by 140 GPR around 8:30 and 10:30 this morning. Observed a police officer sitting in his car by the entrance but didn't see anyone going in. Not sure how well attended the events were but based on my two observations it didn't look like much. Anyone else have any information or impressions?
I passed by at around 10:30 and again at 12:30. Saw the ploice car - I think the officer was eating a donut - but not much trafffic activity. At 12:30 I did notice cars parked in the rear of the building visible from meridan road. Not sure how many.
Just spoke with Rob Jennings. (He called me). I commented to him only because I didnt want the DR to publish an article in effect saying, See there was no traffic problem. I reminded him that it didnt matter what the traffic was today since full capacity now is still less than 20% of what the total plan would accomodate. According to him the parking lot being used is way in the back making it difficult to see the cars from GP Rd. and there were approx. 600 people in attendance at the early service. He didnt have a number for the later one. So either way I guess they didnt need to errect the Big Tent today. C.
