Tomorrows NYT Article

I wonder how badly tomorrows NYT article is going to make RT look.  Keep in mind that, CC probably initiated the call for an interview with VORT and other township officials via Spring O'Brian / Whiney.  They are in the "Cat-Bird seat" pertaining to the control of public opinion.  I suspect that we went in to the "lions denn" when agreeing to chat with the NYT sans professional representation, using only our own collective "wits",  whereas, cc went in armed to the teeth with professional advice, those of which know how to spin anything towards their favor in the public limelight.

We shall see; tomorrow is the NYT publishing date as we understand it.  The NYT is a great venue if one wants to pollute a future jury.  I suspect that cc will have accomplished their initial mission unfortunately.  Being more specific, this article will be most unflattering towards the position that RT has taken regarding this application.

Is everyone in town sure that RT does not need a professional PR firm to represent its best interests?  Do ya still wanna go into battle with field artillary against powered tanks?

While it is always a crap shoot with reporters Tina Kelly seems to have her act together.  I spoke to her again today and she advised me that she was only given 900 words so she can not get too detailed.

She did ask me to confirm some data she was given by CC.  I will not say on this board just what it was - as I know Whiney would love the chance to double talk his way out of this one - but lets just say that CC was caught giving the NYT information that was NOT what they testified to.  LUCKY for us I have the transcripts and now so does Tina Kelly.

Lets see what happens in the morning.  I will be out of town and on a train most of the day - so I will get my NYT in Newark Penn Station.

Sincerely,

Lisa

Since it is a "fait accompli" with regard to the content of tomorrow's article, we can only pray (at this point) for the best.

Maybe CC doesn't approve of the article and threatened to sue the Times if they published it.
