Today, Good Friday, is a solemn day in the Christian Calendar. One would think that Christians would be deep in thought, prayer and reflection considering the importance of the crucifixation that Jesus Christ has on their lives. Most of my friends and associates who work for secular businesses have today off because it is Good Friday.
But not irelands moneycounters. Note as you pass by their parking lot that the full staff of accountants are present and presumably counting their $$. I note that they were all there at around 1:00 PM and were still there at 4:30 PM.
Was there not something in the New Testament concerning Christs ire when the moneychangers defiled the Temple on the Passover? Wasn't the last supper a Passover Seder?
Please help me to understand this sort of blasphemy, my dear Christian friends. I am miffed by it. Just how much ignorance is there in that particular community, or is this sort of crap standard Christian practice?
Hi Rat. Nope, not at all SOP from my experience, but then we all know that CC only worships one thing, $$$. I remember that they also dont have any Christmas day services there either. Guess they are too busy skiing or vacationing elsewhere with all the $ they have made. Maybe the AG will investigate them next like the church in Randolph that claimed the 150' schooner was part of their ministry. Anyway, Happy Bunny Day to all. C.
