Post Info TOPIC: What would Jesus Do?

What would Jesus Do?

My wife has been posing an interesing question around the house here.  Since she is Christian (Roman Catholic), I think that her question is very interesting.  I personally do not feel qualified to answer this question since I am Jewish and not that familiar with Christian teachings.  Her question is a rhetorical one directed at Ireland apertaining to his threat to sue this towhship if he does not get his way.  The Question is:
"Is that what Jesus would do?"
I am sure that there are plenty of knowledgable Christians out there who could help answer this interesting theoretical question.  Christians, please chime in with your opinions on this one.  Thanks.

I don't think He would sue. Jesus was good at making more from less, something Ireland doesn't know how to do.

I'd make a really really violent movie about it - blood everywhere - the more the better.  I'd merchandise the movie too - sell fake Jesus nails and stuff.

Wait a minute - this isn't about my movie?  It's about Rev Ireland???  Oh...nevermind...I'd just stay in Montclair then.

Maybe your wife should first ask herself what Jesus would do if he was in her shoes.

Meaning, is it right for a Christian to try to stop a church that is preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Make no mistake about it. That is the Reverend Irelands goal - To spread the news of the one True God, reaching down to man, by the gift of His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, who was sent to die, to pay the price for the sins that we all have committed, so that we can reconnect with the Creator who formed us.

Have you ever listened to him speak? That's his main point.

To those who have accepted Jesus for who He is, realize that they must get the Message out.

There is no question that Jesus wants Christians to fulfill the "Great Commmision".

And if that means using a court of Law to enforce the right's given to Christians, then that is what he would want David Ireland to do.

So is your wife fulfilling the Commission? Or is she working against it?

right...he's not trying to line his pocket...PLEASE!!!!

if that were his goal...he'd try to spread the word in a place that needs it...he should find a place that NEEDS salvation and bring it to them...

not impose on a community that already has plenty of churches and temples...and where the residents already attend services...

What sort of commissions do you people make for every convert you bring in to the church?

I'm sure JC wanted Ireland to buy that new Lexus SUV...to spread the word. Actually I have heard Ireland speak many times. He sounds more like a motivational speaker than a man of G-D.

Nothing wrong with that, but he falls into the whole "mega-church" preacher thing...more glitz and gospel singing than reaching into you soul to accept the word of G-D. Many traditional men of the cloth feel these churches are turning church into eye-candy. I see nothing in Ireland that changes that.

As far as WWJD? I feel JC would not want to impact other in order to spread the word. He would find a suitable home for his temple that suits his and his neighbors needs.

Two Jews going walking by a church. There is a sign outside stating "Convert and receive $50".

The Jews say..."great! We'll let them talk awhile. Pretend we're interested and get a quick $50".

One Jew says "you stay here, I'll go first"

The other Jew waits 1 hour....2 hours...3 hours

Finally, his friend comes out of the church

The waiting Jew says "so, ya get the money?"

The other one says "Is that all you people think about"!

So I guess the going rate is a fifty

I think Slight Twist is more like totally twisted. Did everyone else notice that we are preventing Christians from practicing their religion. Sorry but the only thing I can say to that is a big B.S. Typically they think they are the only true Christians and everyone else is an enemy of God. I think I would rather live with the worst non-CC-christian then with self righteous phoneys like them.
