My max capacity number for a Sunday service or special event is 4032 people (see below). divide that by 2.1 persons per vehicle and they would need 1920 parking spaces.
Take away the fellowship hall (-600) and the number is 3432 people and 1634 parking spaces.
Details:
Main Sanctuary - 2512 seats planned plus 200 folding chairs
Speakers, band, choir, ushers, sound an video production - 50 (conservative estimate)
fellowship hall - 600 seats (new ordinance will kibash this?)
Chapel 400 seats (for overflow)
Nursery and Youth Classrooms - 250 children and staff (conservative estimate)
I would only disagree with one of your numbers - I do not think they will have folding chairs in the main sanctuary.
Further there is more space in the gym and in the classrooms for people then what you have noted. With folding chairs the fellowship hall can fit 2000 - not 600. Currently CC is using video feed from the main sanctuary to the fellowship hall - if they can do it now - why cant they do it in Rockaway Twp?
At the current time the building can hold over 5000 people at one time - that would mean they need a little fewer then 2500 spaces based on the 2.1 number. Based on the 3:1 ratio they would need 1667 spaces. They are claiming that they will not have more then the 2500 on site at one time - however how is this enforceable? Who is going to count people and investigate video feed? If they currently have the practice of using video feed - it is hightly likely they will continue this practice.

The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.
Regarding video feeds, all that he has to say is that the flow of electrons through copper wires containing images of "The Big Guy" (ireland) is part of his liturgy and thus a component of his religious faith. Want to try to figure out a way to put the kabash on that one?
I don't understand why anyone would want to travel many miles, sit in a crowded room and watch the service on a screen. Might as well buy a big TV, stay home and watch Joel Ostein in your pajamas.
More than that, I can not understand why anyone would join a so called church run by a self centered, self serving ego maniac like ireland, and then pour 10 percent before taxes into his wallet. The whole concept completes evades my comprehension, especially given all of the legitimate religions that exist in this world.
