Hmm... If you recall when last we visited the applicant they claimed that the 'county' had all but approved the new traffic light and turning lane on GPR. Well well well guess what????? They do NOT have any approvals and in fact those survey guys on GPR yesterday were doing county mandated surveys of the road frontage on the Agilent property because it appears that Agilent does not own the frontage - it is owned by a third party - who would have to sell (if they wanted to)the land to the applicant should the applicant want to add impervious coverage on it. Oh by the way the land is owned by Rockaway Twp.... how much ya think it will sell for...I say 630K per foot!
My my what a tangled web or friend Ireland has landed in... and I guess he will cry that the big mean RT residents will not let him take OUR land away and build on it and somehow this is a violation of his rights to pray! Give it up DAVID and move on.
My, my, my!!! You are way more generous than I would ever be. I say 6.5 Million per ft^2! Time for another "dig deep to avoid the devil" pledging sermon at the church!
Why, I think that we should build a nice little park there and we should do it now! We need to put in some benches so that people can sit and watch that pristine waters of that beautiful stream flow by while they watch and feed the ducks. Maybe we could even put in a little jogging pathway so that we have a safe place to run if we want to rather than on those dangerous curvey roadways. It would look especially nice with some swings and sea-saws for the kids too. I bet that the trout fishing is great there in the springtime, so that would be another great use for our Green Pond Stream Park. Very very kewl.
I think that we need to start a GPR Park Development Commission to find out what the good folks of RT want to do with our nice little plot of land by the stream, what do you think folks?
I just got back from a little jaunt in our future park and noticed two features that need the be addressed immediately.
1. There is an Ugly A$$ 140 GPR / Agilent Sign there that must go. It really destroys the appearance of our beautiful park site. I can not imagine who ever give them permission to put that on OUR land!
2. There is a bridge that runs across the stream there. It needs to have a toll both constructed on our side of the property; 10 bucks a car in each direction. This modest little fee will help us to pay for maintainence costs for our little park, right? Of course, right!
Now, who is going to join our park development commission?
