I Love it. Today's Neighbor News has an extensive article on the January CC Planning Board meeting. The title of the article is great. "Christ Church leader finds himself to be a man without a plan", referring to the incomplete and "fluid" plans that have been submitted over and over by CC. Cindy Forest has been doing a good job with the coverage. Its too bad they dont provide online links to their stories.
Those of us who live in the Meriden section of town receive the Boonton version of the paper....The article is not there
Can someone scan it and email me a copy (or post it online somewhere)? For me email addr, just click on my name
Thanks

I would send it to you if I had a scanner. However, living in the same neighborhood, we always get the wron version as do you. However, we get the correct (RT) version of the paper from Key Foods in Denville should you ever be in that area on a routine basis.

I sent this to Cindy Forrest...the writer of that article ...... Cindy, I have followed the goings on and been to mostly all the meetings regarding Christ Church's proposed move to Rockaway. I have read your article, and I applaud you for trying to remain unbiased and more factual than some of the other newspapers...specifically the Daily Record (or as some people have come to call it the Daily Raggard).
I do question, however, why you would look for comment from the likes of Ted Doty. This man has unsuccessfully run for mayor, been fined, lost frivolous lawsuit waged against the Board of Ed, has sent more letters to the editor in your paper and others than any person I know (under his real and fake names), has sent out letters to the town residents, and has instigated many flame wars on internet bulletin boards...My feeling is this guy has had more press than many elected officials. My opinion and many others is that his man is known attention seeking, contrarian kook.
My only guess for you speaking to him is because you were looking for a resident supporter of CC's plan, and could find no others, except perhaps for Russ Jones, who walked into the meeting at about 10:30, promptly sat down and had a friendly chat with an employee of Christ Church. Did you know that Jones has a company that does classes in Churches and schools? With this in mind, one has to question his motive. We all know he has already made a foolish statement documented in your newspaper, so perhaps he was a wise choice in people to avoid.
My entire point with this is, if you look hard enough, you may find some reasonable, non-quirky supporters of Christ Church's proposal. You may even find a group of supporters that is not employed one way or the other by the Church, nor already a member of the Church, nor standing to gain economically by their move, living in Rockaway Township, but I highly doubt it.
Again, thanks for your attempt to shed light through the smoke screen that Ireland is making. Mark ..........
