tick tock tick tock

so when will it hit?  When will the law suit be filed? tick tock tick tock...

Oh wait there are no damages, there is nothing inapprioriate, there is nothing to sue over ...but do you think that will stop them?? tick tock tick tock

Hey Whiney you got caught with all your double talk..."We expected this," Weinstein said of the ordinance. "

THEN...

But Weinstein called the proposed ordinance "changing the rules" halfway through the game, and said the church had no plans to revise its application.

So you really know that you were well aware that the ordinance was under review and your client was told in an open hearing that it was likely to be revised.  If your client has no plans to revise its application then we can advise the planning board on Monday night and they can reject the application. Thanks it will save us all a great deal of time!

Excellent point - the applicant was well aware of the potential changes in the works - heck, they even wanted them clarified! It is my belief that the applicant had the lawsuit in mind from the start, unless his experts are complete and total idiots - I am sure they did some math early on and had a pretty good idea about being turned down due to size, impact, etc...The Ace in the hole if you will was always to be the race card, and with RUPILA and the Beckett chasers handy, a bull your way in was the plan from the get go. The not so well orchrestrated pr stunts are a bit of a mystery - not one of them helped the cause IMHO. Oh well, I am confident that our officials took the time necassary to write up some solid changes, legal, and in line with NJ State regs.

We will no doubt have our day in court, let's hope the planning board meetings end soon, they are a complete waste of time for everyone involved at this point...

It is also comforting to know that Marci Hamilton was looking over their shoulders as they went about the task!

While the applicant was playing games with cheap PR tricks and misleading building plans, our town planners were busy doing the right thing. I'm sure Marci is but one of many legal experts ensuring we have an iron clad plan. One that will be upheld in court, because all laws were followed. Hey Rev, time to pack up your caravan and find a new location to pedal your snake oil.

Our Marci...

LOVE her!

p.s. Anyone in the mood to celebrate...uh...the superbowl? Interested in meeting some of your peers here on this board in person? If you're free Sunday and are interested in watching the game (or not) send me a p.m. Some of you whose emails I know have already been invited, but alas, no response as yet. We've got about 20 people coming at this point, for those who aren't interested in the game we can put together a fun game of tipsy scrabble. (We learned that one New Year's Eve!)
