the next wave

Well it has been too quite for too long.  The 3 ring circus is about to begin again.  I recieved a few calls today from some papers. It appears that CC met 2 weeks ago with the 1st Presbyterian of Rockaway Boro.  The Presbyterian Church has written a letter to Rockaway Twp in support of CC based on religion and that they will be beneficial to the local ecomomy.  They fail to mention the impact to the environment, the traffic and quality of life to residents.  They also fail to mention the protection of the water supply of 3 million residents of NJ.

The PR Machine is at work and is attempting to divide a community with religion - all in the name of a house of worship.  Ms. Hamilton sure called this one in advance.  I am thrilled that Rockaway Twp has her on our team!

It is clear that CC is getting nervous as they are pulling out anything they can at this point.  I wonder if they know that the Presbyterian Church is in Rockaway Boro - and that is a completely different town.

Have a nice evening and enjoy your paper in the morning.

Lisa

The DR seems like a drooling lapdog for Ireland.  As always, the man of the cloth is getting all the objective press that money can buy!  BTW, has everyone cancelled their subscriptions to the DR yet?  That paper surely is not serving the best interest of the citizens of Morris County as it pertains to the CC debacle.  I think that they need to pay for that position.

That letter and $1.50 will just about get them a cup of coffee...how pathetic! Our planning board will not lend any weight to this cheap PR trick. Keep up the good work Lisa!
