I have a suggestion as to what you all can do to take a productive step to get involved.  We all know that the Christ Church application has a long way to go.  Our elected officials need to hear from you and see you at town council meetings AND planning board meetings.  Tuesday night 1/4/05 is the next town council meeting.   http://www.rockawaytownship.org/town%20clerk/town_clerk.htm#Council%20Meetings

Regular Council Meeting - 1st Tuesday of the month.

Conference Meeting - Last Tuesday of the month.

Schedule of 2004 Regular and Conference Meetings for Rockaway Township. All meetings will be held in the Municipal Building, 65 Mt. Hope Road, Rockaway Township at 8:00 PM. Formal action may be taken at all meetings [both regular and conference]. 

By attending meetings and speaking to your council representitives you can ensure they know your feelings, your ideas and your concerns.   I will be at Tuesdays meeting (if I can shake this nasty cold!) and I hope to see many of you there too.  I try to make at least one council meeting a month.  Please try to do the same and encourage your friends and neighbors to attend as well!
