Did anyone hear any particulars? I found that there was a warning issued by the weather service around 9:25 PM when that thunder storm came thru, but we were watching channel 11 which didnt display ANY weather warning. Wasnt even aware of it until today when a relative mentioned it. Does anyone know if one actually was seen or touched down or was it just a warining? I didnt see any mention in today's DR.
We hit the basement for a half hour or so, but nothing happened. According to the news, there were rotations (hence the specific warning for our location) but it never touched down.
Glad I wasnt there. It would have been my luck that I would wake up in your basement with your big slithering friend in my lap. No thanks.
I sent off a nastygram to Channel 11 thanking them for not showing any warnings at all. Good to know that they care so much about their audience. We would have been sitting there in the living room when the roof blew off with no warning.
