OK so I was looking at the CC site some more and came upon this book written by David Ireland This is a book about "leadership". Can someone please tell me what this last item in the bulleted area means?
Why is it that some leaders excel while others never seem to get off the ground? Our teacher, presents the answer over a number of weeks to a group of business people at a lunchtime service. Pastor Ireland is most comfortable in an environment where he is rubbing shoulders with leaders. The principles he shares have been extruded out of the crucible of life's challenges. They are not theory--they are practiced daily. As a developing leader, you will learn:
Leaders Are Role Models
Leaders Are Diligent People
Leaders Are Purpose Driven
Leaders Are People Who Experience Failure
Leaders Are Problem Solvers
Leaders Are Encourages
This next book is about sex:
In this series, Dr. David Ireland confronts today’s attitudes toward sex and sexuality. Dr. Ireland points out that more pornography outlets exist in America today than McDonald’s restaurants. He also tackles the issues surrounding sexual addictions.
Sex: Blessing or Curse
Overcoming Sexual Addictions
Breaking Free and Staying Free
I missed it in Irelands resume where he is an expert about sex? Did anyone hear this, did I miss something?
THEN THERE IS THIS ONE:
Healing Victims of Abuse
These series of messages are therapeutic to victims and victimizers of physical, sexual and spiritual abuse.
These series of messages are therapeutic to victims and victimizers of physical, sexual and spiritual abuse. Pastor Ireland, in his unique expository preaching style, establishes a rapport with the hurting by outlining the various stages of emotional suffering which leads to the healing journey.
Wholeness is achievable! From personal experience, our teacher, maps out a plan that will move you from pain to peace and from being a victim to victor. The starting point for your healing journey is just a tape series away.
I have never heard of "spiritual abuse", has anyone else heard of this?
Now here is my question:
Ireland is an engineer, pastor, an organizational leader, a sex expert, a victims expert, and more...so why cant he answer the basic question what is your growth projection?
